I don't know if you'll see this comment but @5:52 why did it change from 1:2 to 1:3, did we add the two ratios?

It didn't change but you need to know that vector AC is 1 and CB is 2, that means that vector AB is 3 since you add 1 and 2. And since you are calculating AC which is having 1, Will say vector AC = 1/3 x vector AB
