    How I grow in coco coir using advanced nutrients and the viparspectra Par450. I am a micro grower who just grows for personal use. I enjoy sharing my garden and experiences. I also enjoy looking at other gardens and being part of the grow community.

      Lill Monkey's Garden I recently purchased some ancient earth . And I’m a bit confused on how to use it ?? It says on there website feeding chart to use 2mil to 1ltre every week in its entire veg cycle . 2mil doesn’t seem enough in its last weeks nor does 1ltr ? Is there a more accrete feeding chart out there, or am I just safe to up the amount I use considering how much water I’m giving my plant? Thanks

    Swapping the containers for bottles with pop tops is a genius idea. I was trying to find something else to put my leaky nutes in, but your cap is a huge step up from what I had in mind. Thanks for saving me lots of cleaning up 😁

    Good tip always adding silica to the mix 1st. It can get cloudy and gunky if you put it into a nutrient solution

    I use this in one tent, in the other Gia Green, 444, and 284, I think that’s the number on label, really wanted to see the difference, taste, growth, and happy plants…still learning so much. For 3 yrs I was doing things wrong, got mold, because I didn’t clean up the bottom of plant, buds all stuck together on last grow, no more finally after three yrs I finally am just starting to get great results…I grew outside for years, always so easy, when I had to set up tent…my gosh I was lost, first was NPK, that took awhile, then water, then lights, on and on, almost packed it in, but I’ve never given up with anything in life, so I’ll keep learning from people like you, and finally success…..thanks..

      The first RUclipsr I watched was Rasta green thumb. He has a really good style of teaching and I learnt the basics of plant care from his videos. But my favorite is |Bill Ward. So I'm now pretty good at LST with my auto's in coco.. They grow short but good yields with no need for scrog nets, so I can still more them about in the tent..
      Glad I started by AN from the beginning as I've not had any problems that weren't easily fixed.. I'm an AC infinity fanboy and love the digital controller that runs from an app. getting the VPD right, for each stage of the grow, helps to max out.

    Thank you for the info my friend. I'm using the Micro, Bloom, and Grow for my basic nutrients, but I think I'll try the Sensi Bloom A & B next time. I will be adding Bud Candy to my basic nutes and Big Bud/Nirvana during Bloom phase. The Superthrive will be nice to have in the early stages when I'm transplanting. Thanks again for the info my friend. Happy growing!
    Update 3/14/20. I totally forgot about this video and came back to it today and was amazed! I was amazed because I ended up using exactly the same nutrients you do except I use Micro, Grow, and Bloom instead of Sensi Bloom A & B. My first harvest came out fantastic (Pure Power Plant strain) when using these same products. Ya gotta pay attention though on how much to use, but a little bit goes a long way for the most part. Be well my friend.

    I DAMN sure agree about how BAD the bottles are that Advanced Nutrients uses. I almost do not want to buy their products anymore because of the shitty quality bottle they chose to use. The label says to "SHAKE WELL" on most of their nutrients, but that doesn't work well when the top of the bottle leaks all over the place. I had to transfer to other bottles too because you will lose 1/4 of the product if you keep shaking it in the original shitty bottle. Great quality nutrients, but the packaging suffers!

    Growing in soil I'm going to start using some of their stuff anything different I should know going to be using Pro mix\ Fox Farm a mixture

    • @nateellenberger6043
      @nateellenberger6043 4 года назад

      I use EXACTLY the same soil mixture as you do. I use 70% Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed with 20% ProMix (the red packaging) and 10% perlite (plus a spoon of Mycorrhizae bacteria for the roots). Using the same products in the video (except I use Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, and Bloom instead of the Sensi Bloom A & B), you will get magnificent results. I'm considered a beginner grower and I went all out on my first grow using Advanced Nutrients nutrients and it was the best choice I made. I do not use a set feeding schedule though. It's best to keep watching your plants and give them what they show you they need each day. Also, if you go to the Advanced Nutrient website, they will show how much you should be feeding you plants each week (don't get confused with "each week" with "each feeding"). If the website says "4ml of Micro, Grow, Bloom for week 5", it means you should be feeding your plants about 4ml "that week", not 4ml "per feeding" (in other words, if you water your plants 4 times a week...split the feeding to 1ml per feeding, so it will equal 4ml for the week). Also remember, "a little bit goes a LONG WAY" with Advanced Nutrients nutrients, so half strength through veg is perfectly fine (I would not kick it up to full strength until flowering starts). Hope this all helps and happy growing my friend.

    Great vid. Should I use advanced nutrients feed schedule dose for autoflowers or should I cut it down? What do you think of carboload, overdrive and organic earth? Also, if I have the whole line, should I use every single nutrient? Or should are some unnecessary?

    • @bazdafeeny2730
      @bazdafeeny2730 5 лет назад

      I only use half the dosage for growing autoflowers of advanced nutrients then up the dose slowly but surely until I get it bang on, it's trial and error not that I've ran into any problems yet, I used to grow photo period plants but I prefer to grow Autos now and I find advanced nutrients to work the best for me, especially when using the sensi coco nutrients, I would recommend this product to anyone as it saves the headache of pH fluctuations, I hope this helps and I hope your grow goes well, peace ✌️

    How are you sure that using these bottled nutrients are healthy for consumption? people complain all the time about GMOs and Monsanto putting artificial chemicals and hormones into our food, so how we the people fix that? by using another kind of artificial chemicals... That is INSANITY! doing the same thing over and over again and expecting things to change...
    Also growing organics is MUCH CHEAPER AND MUCH EASIER than hydroponics by a loooong shot and much more forgiven for the beginner grower! All I do now is just mix 2 kinds of potting soils with perlite and cow manure in the pots, then I use a mix of dry amendment in veg, and another mix (of the same brand, Gaia Green) in flower, also I feed my plants seed sprouted teas every once in a while, THAT IS IT! I NEVER use PH up or down products at all! I just give them clean water every 2-3 days and the plants do the PHing by themselves (just like in nature), my plants now are actually bigger than my previous hydros and smell MUCH MUCH more delicious! currently I have a white widow autoflower that flowered in day 21 from seed (unfortunately), but now at day 69 very close to harvest and her main cola is like the size of my arm! I am growing 10 plants under 1 Meizhi COB 600w and 2 Meizhi 600w (not COBs) in an open room (no tent) with air conditioner, my temps are ALWAYS at 25c and humidity ALWAYS between 40-50%, never above or below since I started the grow, though I germinated my seeds in a humidity dome, that is it nothing complicated. I hope somebody is learning something from this, keep it natural as much as you can and organic, we are what we eat after all.
    Peace.

      Maybe you were just shit at growing in hydro, don't have the technical expertise and skills to do it right. So yeah stick to growing in shit and mud, don't need skill or talent for that.

      mentalpatientMp it’s a shame knowing the truth about it. But the good thing about emerald harvest nutrient is that it’s base on advance nutrients but easy to use because it’s less bottles to mix. And the founder is one of the main guy who broke off the ADvance nutrients team. Check out the emerald nutrient line.

    Question is big bud also good for ornamental flowers? Could it be added as a foliar spray?

    • @LillMonkeysGarden
      @LillMonkeysGarden  5 лет назад

      It’s phosphorus so yea it would be great for flowers. I wouldn’t use it in a spray tho because it uptakes through the roots.

    • @LillMonkeysGarden

      I don’t use a reservoir I prepare fresh water when I want it, my plants seam to like it better. I water/feed every day usually starting 3week of flower, before that every other day. You don’t need to buy my calculations just keep the strength low and as she gets bigger you can kick it up. Honestly I don’t measure anything anymore. You’ll get a feel for what she needs.

    Hey, thanks for the video. Can you tell me how much calmag xtra you add? I'm using the sensi line as well. Don't want to cause any lockout but can't find much info about adding calmag xtra to the sensi products.

    • @LillMonkeysGarden
      @LillMonkeysGarden  5 лет назад +1

      Are you using sensi bloom or sensi bloom coco? Because the coco line has more calmag in it. I only use 5mls per gallon and if my plants look like they need more I’ll increase a little.

    • @evangelinem9601
      @evangelinem9601 5 лет назад

      @@LillMonkeysGarden I'm using the Coco line, on the sensi Grow coco A + B right now. My water is pretty soft and my seedlings are looking a little pale/yellow in the middle .. so wondering if the calmag would be beneficial since it also has xtra iron in it. How can you tell when your plants need more calmag?

    • @LillMonkeysGarden
      @LillMonkeysGarden  5 лет назад

      I’d go easy on the calmag. If they don’t have a lot of roots yet they’ll only be able to uptake so much. Make sure your environment is good and they’ll pull through. Good luck and let me know.
