    I notice that James speaks about embouchure, mouthpiece and reed when it is a question of altissimo grasp; no mention was made of the use of fingerings - not an oversight on his part, in my opinion.😢
    It is my view that not too much emphasis is played to the importance of lip use and/or adjustments, mouthpiece and reed - grant it that fingering choices are also just as important 👌
    The humility and modesty of James Carter during this great interview 👏 contrasts the bellicose ferocity and beauty of his performance 👏 which many connoisseurs of Organic Jazz do appreciate 👍

    My favorite saxophone player, saw him at the Blue Note with Galactica and Ronnie Foster. Beautiful Gentleman.
