@JZ's BFF . That's blatantly false and misleading. Those brave men were rescued so they could fight another day. Many French soldiers weren't so lucky as they remained behind in a losing battle to allow their brothers to be rescued. Also, I served in the US Marines myself. So kindly, FU and your brother. Go waste someone else's time. Blocked.
What an incredible way to put a positive spin over what can be characterized as a good old fashioned butt whooping. On the other hand they did evacuate about 300,000 soldiers that went on to fight another day. An important question that the account points out is, where was the German navy? The British were willing to sacrifice their navy to pull out every man they could but the Germans were NOT willing to sacrifice their admittedly smaller navy and push their army harder, in order to strategically win the battle and destroy the BEF and French army.
Brave men! They don't make them like this anymore. RIP brave soldiers!
We do there is no country to fight for that is the difference
