The No Fear gear, what an era. Pair of Tech 8's, No fear gear, and a shoei or Bell helmet that combo would have you feeling like a million bucks. I remember it all like it was yesterday.
The no fear gear was for dorks.
@@Rubeless yeah your totally right man McGrath, Pastrana, Windham all just big dorks. We can all go home now the coolest guy on earth has spoken and let us all know the rest of us are dorks.
I hated No Fear shirts/stickers etc, but their gear was next level at the time.
I was a Shift guy, but definitely had some No Fear stuff in the late 90s.
@@Jimmy_Watt Shift gear in the early 2000's around 2005 was some of my favorites as well.
Travis, what an amazing person. Seen him racing. Loretta’s back in the day when was school boy. Him and his mother came up to Walden to practice. My oldest son couldn’t decide what to name his new pup.. Travis was what he decided..
Its actually freaky how well larry ward was riding this race he could have got pastrana for sure if he did not stack it sick upload racer x
Dang this is awesome. Also, the track layout seems so much longer than it is now. Great to see this footage. Thanks Racer X!
I used to race at redbud when they ran this layout. It was so good. It’s actually shorter than it is now. I think it just seems longer in this video because they’re riding so much slower than they would he now lol
The motos were longer back then
@@moonkat.94no they weren't, gotta go back to '84 for 45 minute motos..
wow this video quality is better than some of the rc/stewart battles in 2005/2006
It was always funny to me how travis always had his elbows up and such a wide rider triangle
RIP Art Eckman 🕊️
Art Eckman, David Bailey, and Jamie Little the best broadcast team in history in my opinion. I can still hear their voices when I watch races. Miss those days.
Lose the girl and I’m with you.
What a couple of class acts!
Who's knob did Davey grease to get hold of these broadcasts? Pay close attention to everything DC does
The good ole days
Pastrana doing unreal against the 250fs
2 strokes rule….we really shot ourselfs in the foot.
My first big bike as a kid pastrana rode it alot better than me
Awesome loved the 2000-2013 years first half 2 strokes vs 4 strokes then 4 those early 4 strokes from 05-13 looked and sounded great before all the sound cry babies toned them down. Sounded way meanier imo. Maybe it was the carbs idk.
Screaming yellow zonker!
And the riders not wearing pyjamas/leggins
The little Japanese rider? Ouch team suzuki! If it wasnt for Japan, there wouldnt be Motocross
Akira Narita for president
