Hi Grace! Rarely comment, but have a few observations: 1. You always do such a great job of making an elegant look. Especially using the brushes lightly and tapping. I've learned a lot from you on this! 2. IMO, and based on how it comes across on my monitor, I would use the Chanel primers or underglows and the powder makeup you picked up, on the upper half of face, and maybe go just a tad darker on lower. I don't notice difference at the end as much on upper, as on lower. 3. I do think you always look stunning in bolder lip rather than sheerer. Thank you so much, I'm one of your OG viewers and learned so much from you over the years, even though I am 70++. Appreciate you taking us on your trips, it is so relaxing and fun to watch your channel!
Hi Grace, I believe we used to have something similar to that Le Blanc here in the US. They discontinued it. I really loved it. It came in 2 shades, mimosa, and forgot the other shade. It had spf 40. Last time I was able to purchase it was 2017. I wish they would bring it back. It was a light creator, brightening base. I have yet to try Jones Road. Thanks❤

I really like the Le Blanc line, I wish we could get more of it here. I don't know why they think only the Asian market wants these products. The oily T-zone I have actually makes my skin oxidize the makeup, which is why starting brighter like this helps. MAC Strobe Cream isn't the worst substitute, it doesn't have SPF, but wearing a white cast sunscreen topped with Strobe looks similar. I think Bare Minerals cornered the market on SPF powder foundation for long enough back in the oughts/teens that a lot of companies stopped selling it. Clinique still makes one, maybe. Powder foundation + City Block was my oily skin go-to combo for at least 15 years.
I have multiple MAC strobe creams. They looked like exact dupes for the limited Chanel glowy primers that came out for the limited winter collection. I assume these are similar in texture?
Hi Grace! I wish the Chanel concealer worked as well for me. It is actually drying. My under eye area is dry (I’m 67). What do you use as under eye hydration? I also have this same Hermes eyeshadow palette. Interested in seeing if/how you use the pop of pink. Have a great weekend! ❤
I have the same issue with this concealer, it's just a tad drying. Maybe they think we are wearing heavier face creams. 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, I mix it with a dab of eye cream on the back of my hand. I've tried this with Sublimage Yeux, Clinique Smart Eye treatment, Algenist Eye Renewal, Tatcha Eye Serum, they all work ok. On my lids I mix eye cream with MAC Paint Pot primer if I am wearing eye shadow.
Hi Grace, Beautiful look! 🙂 Hermes ombres petales is the latest eyeshadow I bought it (I have other three already). In Australia is the only shade sold out. I was waiting for a few months to get it. My lovely SA put it aside for me because they received just one pallet (strange thing) and I was able to get it. The shade is still not available now. They have the refill but I wanted the pallet. I love it and now I’m thinking to get Ombres fumees. The only one I’m not tempted is Ombres vegetales but is possible to change my mind. 😁 For me Hermes eyeshadows are impeccable and the best formula on the market. I love their blushes as well. I just bought Rose Pommette and the colour is gorgeous. 😍 Thanks for sharing!🙂
I’ve tried a few times to play either the miracle balm and I just love either the oily/sticky feeling. My hair sticks to my face etc but I love the idea of it
Hi Grace! I love rock rose as well but are you sure that was the shade you applied? I believe it’s a dark pink/berry shade whereas the one you applied is a dark red. Thank you for another lovely video :)

I’ve been loving the tinted brow gels as well. It can look so natural when you take the time. I prefer it over pencil.

Hello. Thanks for the video. You can get the brightening foundation powder in Canada. Only up to B30 and also the Le Blanc base but in Rosee.

How does this powder compares to the Chanel regular black powder they have? I use that as powder foundation and it looks gorgeous!
