Shrimps, immunity system is very weak, still they can survive in pond water. But i am shocked to hear that fishes are dying.. Madam, these chemicals are less harmful as compared to chemicals dumped into the river by the XYZ companies.
It is used water, not wasted water. Lakhs of farmers are surviving, earning their daily food through this activities.
Good report but there should be fine line between development and biodiversity. Focusing on one too much can't be good

I don't think that can solve the problem. Govt instead of imposing it's decisions should make the people aware why it's wrong and provide alternative options, because these are farmer's private lands. Probably that would help because shrimp farming is surely more profitable than rice. So both sides should emphasize , especially govt. 🙂🙂
