Sir when it type command (airmon-ng start wlan0) then it show : monitor mode already enabled for [phy0]wlan0 on[phy0]10... And after this when i put command (iw dev) then in :type manged : showed sir please help
Before running command (sudo airmon-ng start wlan0), run command
sudo ifconfig wlan0 down
sudo airmon-ng check kill
sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
After this to enable monitor mode run command
sudo ip link set wlan0 down
sudo iw dev wlan0 set type monitor
sudo ip link set wlan0 up
hi, i have adapter RTL8192EU 802.11B/G/N ,updated version of kali linux , installed drivers rtl8812au ,when i reboot the system the adapter show the access points one time and then not showing.
AWUS036ACS monitor mode enabled but not showing access points. Downloading kali 2022.3 kernel 5.18 now to see if it works
If it doesn't work for you then try to install it's driver on linux.

Yes sure
If u r using vmware Download the iso file open vmware, select option "Create a New Virtual Machine" then select the iso file and create the vm.

Yes if kali linux is installed as the host machine, on your laptop.

If you are using linux in virtual machine, the try this
1. Power off the kali vm. Download and install VirtualBox Extension Pack
2. Add wifi adapter details as usb filter Then press ok.
3. Unplug the usb adapter physically.
4. Start kali vm and log in.
5. Plug in wifi adapter to pc.
Bro i do all of these steps, but when I plug in the adapter to my pc the screen stops working

2. Reinstall your kali linux vm
3. Try other linux distribution ( recommend: parrot os, ubuntu, redhat)
4. Run Command
sudo apt install usb-modeswitch usb-modeswitch-data
You would to need to change the vendor hex value (-v) and product (-p) hex value in this line :-
sudo usb_modeswitch -K -W -v 0e8d -p 2870

U can I install multiple OS in vmware I will recommend to install the leatest kali and try with it because some wifi adaptor working with leatest kali linux. If it won't then install the old one link is in the description.

@@Dedsec-jo2dq No u can use it as a normal wifi adaptor as it support 5ghz u can access large distance wifi but it will not spport monitor mode Scanning.
Try to find some solution to use it if aviable.
