Hello, friend. We have good news and bad news. The good news are more this time, as first you have under siege Tirith Anduin, that means the whole of the Wold comes eventually under your control. I suggest you keep it and get a portion of the garrison of Rochburg, minus the broken units, to there, in order to keep the defense. The broken units can stay in Rochburg, because this is the place where they will retrain and keep the peace and deter Lorien to suddenly have the idea to attack... Second, surely get the snatch of Minas Tirith and I suggest to get both Osgiliaths, in order to hold the full line of the Anduin from south of Dol Guldur till the curve to Pelargir - why not the big Numenorean port itself, Lebennin and Carasast? This way, you can hold the most rich portion of Gondor, and a bunch of fortresses with the best of infrastructure possible and hold the front against Mordor with ease. I remind you that you have a mission to talk to the Vale of Anduin for trade, you're literally one step from them... Imladris will surely fall, as well as Fennas Drunin and Celoniach, I'm very confident of you. The garrison didn't intervene because, if you remember, you set them under siege and they could not reinforce. The other army you asked why they didn't join, they were more than a tile away, so they were out of reinforcement range - which was very beneficial for you. Goblin doomstack out, let's take them out of the way. Bree retreated from Tharbad because they don't border it anymore, when you took Metraith. But I feel that you will be in a good defensive position should they assault - which I hope they will do. The bad news: Bree is still under siege and this worries me. The problem? YOUR RINGBEARER IS THERE! YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE HIM AND THE ONE RING! This for today, I hope the next episode is even better. Have a nice time.
Yeah, Izzy should definitely push some more troops to Bree before it falls. Was the other army out of the reinforcement range? It certainly didn't look like it. Izzy's victorious army moved next to it and was able to attack. I don't have a good explanation, though. I don't think it should matter if it is out of movement points or anything like that... But Izzy got lucky it didn't join, since those wargs would have made a mess of his line.
@@JohnDoe-fo7yi Works great, it's called the Troy defense, like in the movie Troy, where the Trojans setup a wall of spearmen infront of the gates, protected by archers on the walls.
@RemusKingOfRome I can certainly see how that enables a lot more time for the towers and archers to do their jobs. I typically will take my cavalry out and harass the siege equipment , buying time. I'm going to try the Troy defense though.
So as far as given territory to other factions for buffer zones, in my High Elves campaign in EUR, I've found that the best AI ally are the dwarves. They are the best faction for keeping territory against Mordor and Dol goldur it seems. Ive been giving all the territory I claim East of the Misty Mountains and so far, they have lost none. So I've effectively blocked off an entire section of the map so I can focus on Isenguard. Maybe try giving some territory to the dwarves of KD?
@@IzzyTotalWaryou definitely could actually! Since they added some nice units even tho it's not as much as mordor but then you have new enemies and not just bree and orcs 24/7 but also some evil southerners! Who also have a few new units
Hey Izzy I think that if you bring the ring to the black gate you might be give an option there to keep it or give it away idk, I’d save before you try

I never allow my gate to breached , I always put a shield wall in front of it. Cheap militia spearmen are the go. Meat shield the gate. :D
Like, outside? Very interesting strategy!

Don't forget to disable battle timer before minastirith. That map is a hell to navigate
Especially if you forget to bring up a ram for the 2nd gate!
Great episode! Yeah ladders and towers don't work on cair andros
Don't forget to speak to Anduin Vale
Think you should up the cav production in Rohan. You've built all of those Frekkalingir barracs there and western front is in desperate need of cav.
Izzy missed out on some goofy ladder shenanigans on the background 46:06😆
Nice catch! Thanks for that.
Re: Sleep Quality
if you snore, wake up with a headache, dry mouth... You could have sleep apnea and you should get that checked.

Honestly I’d love to see a dwarf campaign again
A Gondor campaign would be good
Been done I think.
@@michaeltilton1658been done, but to be fair it has been a long time ago!

Just out of curiosity, what does the family tree look like now?
Izzy a question: at minute 43:11 what button do you press to switch to cinema mode?
"Scroll Lock" on your keyboard (or "scrllck")
I'd be down for a Rohan/ Dale eur campaign
Rohan EUR is very easy so would be a quick (but fun!) one
I think leaving the Gap of Rohan/ Southern Eriador for the next campaign would be welcomed, both as a viewer and for Izzy no doubt.
