Hi Sheerwill! I'm not familiar with the global version of the Pro 3 so I can't comment on it's performance, I will see if we can add to the list off scanners to review. However based on my V5 Pro being global, I have been able to use it here it the USA. It does come with car models that are not available in the USA but I doesn't not bother me to have those extra. However if you want the USA version I would recommend returning your scanner before you open it, and getting the USA one, it will only have USA car models but you can purchase additional global cars needed via the Launch Mall on the scanner. Just bought x431pro 3 from Amazon IT’s global is there anything else I should know being it’s not supported in USA
