    Please, aside nursing with placement that leads to a faster settlement in UK 🇬🇧
    Is there any masters program in health. Outside public health that’s for one year.
    There’s no dependent anymore, 20hrs cannot pay tuition balance.
    I’m looking at trying a one year course for masters in health.

      Hello, I understand your concerns because they are very valid. Took me a while to reply you because I wanted to have some options for you. I will reply back to your comment when I get answers for your question.

    I have done a PhD in Philosophy from India and I’m moving to Canada as a Permanent Resident. I’m not sure if my foreign PhD can fetch me a job in the Canadian market so I thought of doing an accelerated nursing degree.
    Should I choose a ABSN or MSN?
    Please suggest me 🙏🏽

    • @olatunbosunrashidat

      Hello, hope you are fine. For context i schooled and currently working in the united kingdom so i dont really understand what the canadian joib market is like. In the uk the ABSN is for people who have a first degree and the programme is called Masters in nursing. so technically it is an ABSN but it is a masters. so if you are thinking of doing nursing in a short period of time you can go for the masters in nursing programme but you will have to apply with your Bsc and not your Phd because that is the requirement.
      Canada also offers this ABSN programme but you need to do some prerequisites which i am not sure if you can do it from your home country. so pls make more research on it.
      I hope this explanation helps.

    Thanks for the information but the financial issue was not well explained? How did you pay your tuition fees or was it a sponsorship program?

    • @olatunbosunrashidat
      @olatunbosunrashidat  Месяц назад +1

      Hi babes, it’s not a sponsored program, I got about 2k scholarship from my first year school fees which made me to pay the balance of 14,640 pounds. When I started my program form A was very good then so I paid most of my school fees using form A by buying pounds from the Nigerian government at cheap price. Also I have a support system here. Because I was not able to work much only 20 hours during school time but I was able to work unlimited during holidays which is shorter than non nursing student holiday but it was still something

    Hello nurse Rashida please my question is after the program will someone have an automatic stay with family? And what extra courses do I need to take asides my bachelors to qualify for the admission.

    • @olatunbosunrashidat
      @olatunbosunrashidat  Месяц назад +1

      Hello, after your program, your school will send your name to the nursing and midwifery council. The NMC will then send you a link to register with them. After that is done you will get your NMC pin which now certifies you as a registered nurse in the Uk. 6 months prior to the completion of your program make sure you start applying to the kind of job you want especially if you don’t want to stay in the city you schooled. It gives you better chance of landing your dream job. During your job interviews conversations will lead to it that you are an international student and you will need a visa. I didn’t have to tell anyone I needed sponsorship. Because you schooled here it’s almost automatic ( but if you are in doubt pls ask them during the interview). Once you accept the job offer they will forward your details to the hospital HR who will then send you your certificate of sponsorship. This COS will cover you and your family members. All you need to do is to pay only visa fee to change from student visa to work visa.
      One thing I know is I have not seen anyone who did this program and did not get a job. I hope this explanation helps. Feel free to comment any more grey areas you have 🧡

    Hello nurse Rash. Thank you for the videos. Please after getting admission are my to pay for the two years tuition once?

    • @olatunbosunrashidat
      @olatunbosunrashidat  2 месяца назад +1

      No, you will be told to pay some amount before getting your CAS which you will need for visa processing, then they will tell you the deadline you have to complete your first year payment. In the second year, you will have to pay some amount to be able to enroll for your year 2, in some schools they can request up to 50%. Once you enrol you will be given a deadline to pay up the balance.

      Hello, combining work and school is not a walk in the park, but you will be able to cope. I’ll do a video on jobs soon and basically you will be able to work in the hospital close to you as a flexible staff. So most likely you not have any issues getting job while studying 🥰
