I used to meet up with guys when i was 14/15 from online. Not long before i turned 16 i started seeing a guy who was 29. I ran away from home, he introduced me to meth, i eventually became addicted and he started sharing me with his friends to make me earn my next hit. I got out of that lifestyle and regained control of my lifestyle in a far more respectable profession. I started seeing a psychologist a couple of years ago, through our talks we ealised that i was probably being used by pedo ring/network. If on Grindr or other similar apps and an underage guy messages me, it always worrys me that somebody will use them too. The best way to help is to report their profile if they're underage, please do the same. Keep them safe

What makes me sick is that when I was younger, around 14, I had found jikishi on twitch while he was still very underground in the community, I would join his lives nightly and look forward to them, it got to the point where he had recognized my username and greeted me each time I joined, I looked up to him and really enjoyed his videos. I had stopped watching him right before he had blown up within the community and had talked to him personally multiple times on Instagram, thinking it was normal and super happy to talk to a streamer who’s content I really enjoyed. I ended up getting too busy to watch his streams and when I finally found myself remembering the whole situation, I was now 16 and had found out he joined the dream smp, people who I didn’t enjoy watching. A couple months passed by and I looked him up again to go and join his stream and went through a rabbit hole, finding out he was a pedo and that whole time when I was younger I looked up to a sick guy who, if I continued to reply to him, I too could have become a part of that whole thing. It’s awful.

RUclips is just another big, greedy company. These creators keep people on their platform, so it wouldn't be a financially good idea to take action against them.

The biggest reason as to why these happen is because when someone is famous, they believe that they are more powerful than others until it goes to the point that they use their power to manipulate and abuse others, with minors being their easiest target because they have loads of them in their fanbase.

I started seeing a psychologist a couple of years ago, through our talks we ealised that i was probably being used by pedo ring/network. What makes me sick is that when I was younger, around 14, I had found jikishi on twitch while he was still very underground in the community, I would join his lives nightly and look forward to them, it got to the point where he had recognized my username and greeted me each time I joined, I looked up to him and really enjoyed his videos. I had stopped watching him right before he had blown up within the community and had talked to him personally multiple times on Instagram, thinking it was normal and super happy to talk to a streamer who’s content I really enjoyed. I ended up getting too busy to watch his streams and when I finally found myself remembering the whole situation, I was now 16 and had found out he joined the dream smp, people who I didn’t enjoy watching. A couple months passed by and I looked him up again to go and join his stream and went through a rabbit hole, finding out he was a pedo and that whole time when I was younger I looked up to a sick guy who, if I continued to reply to him, I too could have become a part of that whole thing. It’s awful.

Sad part is RUclips protects some of these people. There were a a lot of videos about them that were taken down for no reason.
RUclips is just another big, greedy company. These creators keep people on their platform, so it wouldn't be a financially good idea to take action against them.
