Your eyebrows look amazing! So very natural and the color is spot on! I'm 65, and a now considering getting this done. Thank you for doing this video :) You've got a new subscriber :)
Your eyebrows look beautiful! I’m so glad I found your channel as I’m ‘mature’ and very fair. I don’t want thick, dark, boomerang eyebrows and am starting to research salons that offer the service and what they create. I’m now a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Hi. I’m so glad you’re here. Thank you for saying Hi. Definitely scroll through social media of the salons. It’s a great way to see their work. I hope you love the results.
Im at research stage now.. your microbladed eyebrows are exactly 💯% what im looking for if I proceed. I have let my hair go natural Grey and so im looking for someone who does a very natural colour. Nothing dark or over done. Thankyou for all the suggestions here. Extremely helpful. Im early 60's, my eyebrows are all but disappeared. With white hairs. But I have a very shaky hand now and find it so difficult to use eyebrow pencils and eyebrow powder and gels. I wish you were here where i live, i'd ask you to come with me so i can say to the technician "see, just like that"😊👌
Definitely find someone who has lots and lots of pictures of their work on line. So many people have stencils. You want someone who will individualize your experience. Hope that helps.
I am 76 and have white hair. My eyebrows were so sparse from tweezing and trimming that I finally got my brows done Monday. Today is the 4th day. The new brows make me feel a little self conscious, so I am laying low and wearing hat and sunglasses until they begin to fade a bit. I am feeling positive they will be fine. I am also waiting for new glasses after eye surgery. That's part of the problem is not seeing well. Overall, I think I'll be fine.
Yeah I went for microblading for the natural look and I don’t regret it, the lady who did the procedure told me is up of what you are looking for, some women want like more make up look eyebrows, for that you can go with ombré powder.
Absolutely helpful! I'm 8 days since my procedure and starting to really notice the scabing (yea!) which means I'm well on my way to the final outcome. I'm a almost 62 year old African American woman and 😂 looking like Groucho Marx ! Thank goodness I work from home. My technical is great! Knew instinctively that the type of brows that is "in" for the younger women just was not going to cut it. Anxiously waiting for what the brows will look like in a few more days....
Hi. Make sure you’re keeping them moisturized (vaseline). I know what you mean about working from home and being able to hide a bit while they heal. Lol. I know you’re going to be gorgeous 💕. Thanks for taking the time to say Hi.
Your brows look great! I got henna done and liked how my girl did mine. My sister went in and got different brows that looked great on her. I plan on getting microblading done in the new year.
@@JustDoingMyBest I see that your video is a year old. Any thoughts now, a year down the line? How has the upkeep been? I've also been looking at nano-blading; any thoughts on that? Thanks!
I got microblading done yesterday. Let me tell you ,I got my brows tattooed about 9 years ago, and this was a completely different experience! There have been big strides in the permanent makeup industry! Totally worth the $ I paid. I found a very reputable artist. I am in my 40s, and I love my beautiful results ❤ My eyebrows in my profile picture is beforehand.
I'm 68 years old. :) Something you said about only "high maintenance" women would consider MB really resonated with me. Since I'm retired, I hate wearing foundation. When I've done a good job on my brows, I just use tinted sunscreen, lip gloss and mascara. But sketching in my brows is so difficult.
I did micro blading 3 days ago, I was so freaking nervous, I’m here to tell you that there is not reason to be afraid, is not painful if they numb that part, when finished you might feel a little pain, nothing like 2 Advils can’t take way, by the second day not pain whatsoever, I’m happy I did it! My eyebrows looks great, but still in the process of scabbing, is supposed to look better and more natural in time 😊
I’m so happy you love them. Mine never scabbed. Did they give you an ointment to put on them? If not get some aquaphor (probably spelling that wrong). Keep that on them morning and night for a week. They will heal beautifully and no scabbing. Hope that helps.
I would never had thought that you had tattooed eyebrows, they look so natural. I'd love to get mine done but like you, I dread the thought of them being like the young girls eyebrows. You've really encouraged me and now I know where to start looking and what to expect (wish I could just go to your girl for it). Thank you for this excellent video and advice. 🙂
You’re so welcome. I think if you really find one who shares a ton of pictures you’ll find someone who will create exactly what you want. Best of luck. I can’t wait to hear how it goes!!! 💕
I had it done two years ago and I would not do it again. Reason why: It looked good the first year but then I noticed the colour changes slightly. Now, especially in artificial light it looks blueish purple, I use powder to make it disappear but that of course is what I didn't want. The fading process is not evenly distributed, some lines are still strong and some are almost gone. Good side: I so have my own template on where to plug. I could have a makeover with fresh colors but of that I'm afraid will lead to more blueish fade in the future. Just my personal experience, of course
I absolutely understand that. I’ve seen others who have theirs fade different as well. I have not that experience but can see how it could happen. It’s possible also that products have gotten better also.
I have no brow hair. I've had many people try to talk me into getting brows tattooed on over the years... I won't do it. I draw on my brows every day. They most likely look like sh** most of the time, but at the end of the day I wipe them off and try again tomorrow. I don't want anything "permanent" on my face. I have a f'ed up tattoo on my forearm that I've had to live with for over a decade. I wear long sleeves year 'round. Someday... hopefully before I die, I can afford a cover up.
I understand that for sure. I was very ver. Wry hesitant. Permanent makeup can be very scary. I found someone who was very receptive to what I wanted. She did a great job and now I can’t believe I waited to long. You have do what’s comfortable for you! 💕💕
Hi! Great video. Very informative. I’m 61 and I’m considering micro blading. After you get it done do you have to do anything while applying makeup? Like do you have to touch them in or something?
If you get a good tech she will help you. My advice is a light-medium shade. Too dark and they will look harsh. Since I still Color my hair I went for a medium to dark blonde shade. I hope that’s helpful.
Ladies, don't do it. The brows may look good for a little while, but not indefinitely. You will find stories all over the internet, like on RUclips, about ladies who regretted it and have gone through great lengths to remove it. Do your research about long term outcome.
I'm also older and I do not wear makeup. But I do have to fill in my eyebrows. I don't consider that makeup. If I don't have eyebrows, I look like I'm a bit angry! 🤣
@@JustDoingMyBest That's right! When I was in my 20s, I only wore eye makeup. I never wore any foundation on my skin or any blush or even any lipstick. Next time do powder brows because it will last longer than microblading. Powder brows holds the color longer then microblading.
