Monsta X is an older group too they've been around quite a long time now and had a very hard year as one of their members made that mature/sacrifice choice of leaving for reasons best explained by googling around since It's hard to talk about hah. Though MonstaX is often intimidating at first their songs are really well written and composed and choreographed and all the members are super talented ^^ The Duo Rap between I.M and Joohoney is Legend and the skill mix of the members doesn't leave any holes at all. They are one of the most solid groups in all rounded performances and skill in my opinion ^^ The fandom Name is called Monbebe and it's like for 'My everything' sorta thing it encompasses all of their fans. Monsta X is the ultimate group. They excel at everything they do. They have one of the best rap lines in the industry, their vocals are outstanding (including the rappers), and their choreo is a joy to watch. I'd recommend Hero, Jealousy, and Follow to start. They've got great MVs that involve stories so I'd stay clear of those unless you want to fall in a black hole of confusion.
New listeners to Monsta X are never ready for their music. Their sound and concepts are unique. I found them recently too & wondered why I haven’t heard of them earlier? I want to say it’s because they’re not from the Big 3 SK agency. These guys are definitely global superstar status and the top in any industry. Everyone who finds them turn into fans

Shoot out is a real masterpiece : from the mv, to the rap lines (fire !!!!!) to the vocals ! I love it. Their new song, Love Killa, is different, but it's a great song too ! They have a wide range of styles, for the b sides or on their american album, i just can't explain how much they are "kameleons" since they are always trying new concepts and styles while keeping their own identity... It's their voices and energy i think which are defining their identity. I love Monsta X !

IM and Jooheon are some of the best rappers in kpop, but they don't get enough credit. They both can also sing like angels... check out Jooheon's singing during "Who Do You Love?" (English track) and any of IM's covers. Also, Kihyun's vocals are amazing, just listen to his ad libs in "Jealousy".

IM and Jooheon are some of the best rappers in kpop, but they don't get enough credit. They both can also sing like angels... check out Jooheon's singing during "Who Do You Love?" (English track) and any of IM's covers. Also, Kihyun's vocals are amazing, just listen to his ad libs in "Jealousy".

Monsta x is a male kpop group that debuted on the 14 of may 2015 under Starship Entertainment with their MV and EP "Trespass" after being formed on a survival show called "no mercy", They tend tend to have intense verses and melodic choruses, however they are very versatile and can have more of a softer tone/concept to some of their songs like those in their all english album called "all about luv", they have so many interesting concepts, amazing storylines in their videos, and intense choreographies. To top it off they're incredibly talented vocalists (especially their main vocalist Kihyun), amazing dancers, and they have one of, if not the best raplines in kpop of their generation.
