I watched Silent voice last month for the first time after watching this Amv, and i must say the anime was truly heartwarming when you see Shoya starting to see the world in front of him without keeping his ears closed, at the end of his path to redemption he finally started to love himself, to accept himself for who he is and to accept the fact he has changed and that he is no longer the same person he was before. Edit: Well the same goes for Nishimiya they both start to love themselves and stop trying to self harm. Which truly was heartwarming.
The only anime which made me think over my entire school and times when I was bullied or i was the bully. All i ever wanted was for people to accept me just like shoya and shoko did. Truly a masterpiece!

I kinda look at it as what happened in the past happened and he can’t change what he’s done. But he learns to love himself again and can let go of all the guilt he has for bullying her. Shit like this is gonna happen no matter what ppl will be made fun of and picked on for being different but the movie shows you how to deal with those feelings and how to move on and heal.
I feel the same because I get bullied every day for my hearing loss and my Anthrophobia... I have no friends so I sometimes think to sleep and never wake up🙂
