Sorry to say my brother but one think U have to remember that u went their from Agartala which is in Indian side of Tripura state. And here almost 70-80% peoples are from Bengali mother tongue roots. Even rest of all my Kok-borokians brother and sisters also can speak Bengali. So u could be used to speak Bengali rather than promoting Hindi. Bengali is an official language in Tripura.

Even once upon a time Tripura was a part of great Bengal. Do you want to see the map?? I can give u. Even all the 19 community doesn't belongs to one language like kokborok, Kok borok is a great and actual language of Tripura community and their large number of percentage are still living in Bangladesh too, and lushais are the one community which's language is mizo, chakma's language are chottogrami etc.
Even pradyot kishore's some of ancestors too are from Bangladesh like great singer R.D. Barman, S.D.Barman etc.
All these hilly Tripura's development from since a long were developed by all the chaklaroshnabad's land Lords and jamindar's. Because no one tribals gives a single penny for the development of Tripura thru taxes, even now also.

bro how is Tripura culturally are we Tripuri,Bodo,Dimasa and khachari are brothers except Meghalaya,Nagaland ,Manipur,Arunachal Pradesh,Sikkim & Mizoram are our relatives and neigbhour but now we are far apart even though we are brothers who are saparated by the illegal refugee from Bangladesh to all part of northeast India
Some of illegal tribal too r living in Bangladesh.. Tripura is not heaven why people would come here bro.it has 0 facilities.. neither in health nor education nor job.why wud people come to Tripura..
