So true. I think even with the Colorado I had (which is the smallest truck Chevy makes) I needed to use the 4 inch drop model for some of my other trailers (to be clear I don't think I had to use the FULL 4 inch drop, but having it available was nice).
Was just looking to find out which hitch I need for my Rav4 since I just want to usually use a basket on the hitch. It can't tow much so I'm thinking just the 350# one. Probably won't have that much in the basket. NEVER knew why that happened though with vehicles that's CRAZY! I wasn't looking for that info but glad I found it and won't soon forget it! My lil' Rav4 can't tow much of anything so I don't need to worry about that but for future use it's very good info. Thanks!
Great information that most people don't know! I wish I had a truck i would enter for drawing! My Honda Accord coupe would not pull a trailer! 2 door small car. Owners manual says no towing!!!
Not sponsoring it, they hired me to make some commercials for them. That being said I did switch to them and they saved me $150 a year on the same level of coverage. I haven't filed a claim with them yet so not sure how they perform there, but getting the documents I need is easier and quicker with them than Hiscox (who I had before).
Brad, thanks so much for posting this video. LOTS of good info that most people don't know about or don't understand. Have a GREAT week, Brother!
These videos are not ever popular, so I appreciate this feedback! :)
Finally someone who actually explains this to us stupid people in a very understandable way!!!
It's sad how many contractor type trucks I see with 80% tongue weight and no hitch drop when they need a 6 inch drop. On a weekday basis.
Well they gotta maximize there potential.
I BOUGHT THE WHOLE TRAILER SO IM GONNA USE THE WHOLE TRAILER!!!
Plus drop hitches are expensive.
Yup. Lifted trucks or trucks with oversized tires, and no drop hitch....back of the trailer damn near dragging on the ground.

That hitch looks like one powerful shin magnet.

Great videos Brad. Do you know the deck height of this trailer ?
Outstanding Tips Thx Man.
Hell I forgot the weight distribution principles on a trailer especially to much weight towards the rear thanks.
Best Explanation 👏👏👏👏👏

Better play it safe on that one! :D
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Are you sponsoring some sort of business insurance? I saw your photo on an ad on Facebook promoting some sort of liability insurance company.

Thanks that helps

Like that little trailer perfect size
Agreed, just big enough for most things but not too big to be a pain to pull or store.

I always thought that was different, but you may be right.
