I really liked your intro! I mean, I'll admit that I didn't notice it was gone for a video, but it did help bring me into the channel earlier on as a quick showing of what you could do. I could see how it would get old in succession, but I personally don't mind sitting through a good opener.

Bring back the intro! Those 6 seconds are amazing to watch and it proves the value you create as a RUclipsr and why people should watch your stuff. I agree that with most RUclipsrs it's unnecessary and a waste of time. But for a motion graphics channel it's perfect!
I just love the way you do your videos by now. Both fast to the point and full of useful stuff but also highly entertaining!
I honestly love the intro sequence. Might be an odd opinion, but I think it sums up the channel in, like you said, only six seconds.

Can you do a video about how you edit your audio (Adobe audition) and what tools (for voice recording) you use?
Just saw this comment as I was leaving mine and thought I'd give you my two cents - I'm a professional TV editor, so I do know a thing or two about this topic ;)
I'd highly recommend looking into DaVinci Resolve. The free version of their software is super powerful and has some of the best audio editing tools I've used. There are tons of explainers on RUclips about how to get started with the software and with editing in general.
If you've already got all the Adobe products, then Premiere is alright too (although it's not my favourite, but it works very nicely with After Effects, going back and forth). Good Luck!
@@fixmysync thanks for the Tipp. But with Audio editing I mean how to edit the voice audio on tools like Adobe audition and with tools I mean like with mic he is using. But still thanks for the input.
@@Jacob-jd2yp gotcha! A professional mic is always the best choice (and I'm sure Ben uses one) - but for a quick, cheap, and surprisingly usable option, you can use your iPhone to record a voice memo, and then import that into the editing software of your choice for narration & voice over.
I used to be a round-trip-into-Audition guy, but Essential Sound in Premiere really gets you most of the way there. It's really easy to overdo the filters and compressors and Audition when a light touch does more service to the end product.

If your intro didn't have that iconic Trumpet sound and the Bat Butt, we wouldn't have noticed it gone. But we do.
Bring back the intro but just the 1st scene. The bat butt and then zooming into the actual video. That way it's iconic and yet short.

I’ve found that you can use transitions to help indicate moving between different sections, and then using jumpcuts in any other places

kinda sad that you stopped using your intro, it was awesome to say the least and especially i loved the music theme, maybe because it was reminding me of adventure time / cn themes, idk. Ok loved your video but can you watch the brief title sequence that Ame In A Van uses & tell me how she did that? Basically her text slides across the screen & there's smoke that shoots out as the text shoots off the screen. Very curious how to do something similar.

The fact that you mention you're not a big fan of Intros and the Like/Subscribe cues makes me have so much respect for you. It's like 90% of people don't even think for a second about how annoying those can be when you slap it on every single video (sometimes multiple times) just like nearly every other RUclipsr.
I might "forget" to subscribe to a channel once every 3 years. Other than that hearing the "don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe" has got to be one of the most unnecessary, annoying and overused lines on the internet.
Almost has to send him back to the Kimchi store that day... No excuses for an unlabelled layer

Hey, Ben - I've got a Razer Blade 14 2021 - would you say that would be good for After Effects (i know the RAM is limiting at 16GB)? To just at least start out with.
I am only starting, it will be overwhelming to learn both Premier Pro and After Effects at this point. Any suggestions for at least some simple motion graphics?
