It seems I didn't do such a good job with the story line, so for those confused (spoiler warning) the Bae146's wing scrapes the A380's engine. the engine falls off during flight. this causes the A380 to turn and fall out of the sky, hitting a passing 737. both planes end up crashing. hope that clears up what the story is about
