Where did you source the batteries from?? It's hard to find a reliable source of 18650 in India

Robu keeps all orginal but grossly overpriced. If you have a device valueable enough then you can buy from them..back when aliexpress worked i bought 30 panasonic ncr18650b for not much more than 2$ per cell and they are all original tested as 3400mah.. at the time of purchase i didn't realise such high capacity cells degreade very fast. In 300 cycles they lose 20% capacity. As such many of them that i heavily cycled in powering lights and my camera for hours are now measuring less than 2900mah. Those cells are almost 8$ a piece on robu. We do not even have access to battery hookup as shipping dangerous goods to india is a lot of hassle and most pin codes do not even allow that shipment. Otherwise i could have bought so many good cells from batteryhookup , even after paying 40% import duty some of them are still worth the money. Specially for lithium ion. Local sellers of lithium phosphate. Has sprung up a lot and they are selling good cells for reasonable price.

you can find cheap spot welders as well ...amazon is costly for these stuffs.... best is buy local
I was planning this for last 12-14 years for laptop batteries. Especially when the company stop manufacturing the battery replacement units.
Alsi its hard to get genuine batteries from Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sony or Sharp.

Just go to local laptop repair shop and buy old laptop batteries, one battery will cost roughly 100₹ and each battery contains 5-6 cells, out of which you can get minimum 3 good cells.
