China Travel: Chongqing, Chengdu & Countryside Adventures - Menno Ros

Backpacking in the city's of China is way different than the countryside. My travel continu to Chongqing and Chengdu were i search for the local way of living and the nature. While staying in the hostel i explore the local markets, rooftops, and many other places. 中国旅游视频博客 Closeby Chongqing i visit Black Valley, a pure and green area with lots of places for adventure.
My name is Menno Ros, i had the dream to make a worldtrip. I did everything i could to reach that dream. Now i am backpacking solo and live my dream! I follow my feelings and get in contact with beautiful traditions and cultures using hitchhiking. I did travel to countrys like; Tajikistan, China, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and India. 12:18 - For some context, some hotels in China can’t take foreign guests because they need a special license. I was once turned away at Atour because of this. It’s not about being unwelcome. They just don’t have the required license or system to handle foreign ID documents.

Thanks for sharing that! I learned it the hard way, and during my visit in small villages it was very hard or even not possible to find a sleeping place in a Hotel or Hostel. So adventure mode went on...;)

Chongqing actually has more to offer in its beautiful surroundings for backpacking.
