Good Morning, I rode almost 8,400 km since I bought my e-bike last year (March 22-2023). I have NOT replaced my tires yet since they still have good thread on them. They're 'Funshion' tires 20" x 2.5", from Funshion E-Bike and Scooter manufacturer in China. But, I bought my e-bike from a local e-bike shop in my city. If I ever get a flat, my local e-bike shop has there own e-bike mechanic which I would pay to replace my tires as I don't have good knowledge or feel confident with removing hub drive tire. Thank You & Good Video 😎

I have the same tires on my bike and after 5 years of use and over 50,000 Km, they are still perfectly fine. In my first months of riding, I hit a nail in a remote area, and I can tell you that walking my bike back home from a 7 km distance was harder than I imagined. I had never changed a tire before, but I learned. I replaced the tube with a pre-filled slime one. Years later, I had to replace the tire valve stem. Some days I travel over 100 km on rail trails, so I never leave home without tools, repair kits, and essential parts. I ride a lot and on occasion, I meet people with a flat and I can help.

Hi Jacques Poirier, Thanks for sharing your experience. One thing I would add to your advice to those going for long rides, is to practice removing the rear wheel a few times. Then practice removing the inner tube and putting it back in place. Once those basic skills have been acquired, fixing a flat on the trail would be less of a problem.

Hi EBikes420, If ever you plan to travel with your ebike, you can always get support from your AAA or CAA. They now offer the same peace of mind for cyclists as they do to automobile drivers.
