Growing up I never went to chuck e cheese because I’m from a different country but I always wanted to see the animatronics and found out they got rid of the animatronics, I really miss the old days of my childhood but times change and I need to move on. Cheese was just trying to save money, because operating an animatronic costs A LOT and when it breaks, its even worse, and the reason why rock star was made was to help expand its fans, avenger fans were already grown adults, and they wanted a remodel for all of the characters so it can look appealing to the newer gen. The 2.0 saves money on paper, but it's actually making CEC lose money, from how fast CEC is having parkway reconstruct, they are losing money quickly there losing way more money than they would fixing the animatronics which they have enough money 4, they also have some fans who are passionate enough to do it for free, however the dance floor doesn't have a big enough fanbase to have passionate people come in a fix them free of charge, also 2.0 way to often has low visit rate, I went to like 6 2.0s in summer on weekends and all of them were low on staff and visitors, while non 2.0 when they existed around me had many guest, but while I are correct about Rockstar redesign + recast, I think munch and jasper should not have gotten redesigned, and munch should not have been recasted, at least Duncan would still have a character to voice, I just got a real good feeling that CEC won't exist in the next decade, or maybe 5 years, thank you for the kind words btw.

Little over a year ago, I went to the Darien, IL location and the Tinley Park location. After Darien got 2.0, it wasn’t too bad since it was just a Studio C but the reality dawned on me once Tinley Park closed. That was the last MMBB stage in Illinois. The only stores with animatronics that I am aware of in my area now are Crystal Lake and (hopefully, haven’t been there in a while) Gurnee. There’s also Milwaukee but that’s a 3+ hour trip and I’m hoping to get the chance to go to Springfield, IL soon which is even longer of a drive. I am hoping to go dumpster diving at the Crystal Lake location so you bet I am watching that location like a hawk.

that's true, but at the times when live shows we're created, it was more common to see a good performer until somewhere around 2004 or so, now its really rare to see a good performance which makes it very questionable for CEC to remove stages in favor of a liveshow knowing the performers cant dance or be active in anyway.
