The only way to apply semi, demi or permanant is with bleach. The only difference is that this product doesn't lighten and therefore, damage your hair as much as pure bleach would.

Did you grow the red dye out or did you color magenta over the red. Because I dyed mine magenta but I was wondering when I dye it again would it look crazy if I mixed both together and will it come out the same color as my new growth

I will say to those who are going to use this brand , it’s permanent hair dye so if you try to go blonde in the future it’s not Going to come out right. Like blonde is def not going to happen unless your hair can take the damage. Be careful using permanent hair dye . I suggest using either semi permanent or semi permanent but hair is a hard color to get out and especially if it’s permanent.

Just because it isn’t in two separate steps doesn’t mean you still aren’t bleaching it . Sabrina Lucas yes you are correct. I went to cosmetology school and its impossible to lighten hair without bleach. With box color the bleach is inside the color already. Its actually more harmful because you cant personalize it based on your current color. Mixing color is much better..

The salon care is cream peroxide. Peroxide bleaches your hair. Just a slower method ive done it with hydrogen peroxide years ago
