I remember watching MLP when I was little and now I don't , but I never noticed how similar the two sisters and our Dream and Nightmare's story is . This was cool to watch .
This is perfect because its the same with Dream and Nightmare, Both Princesses share a light and dark side. Everyone thinks that the dark side is evil (Nightmare) while the light gets all the attention (Dream). Sometimes I think Dream and Nightmare were based off of Luna and Celestia. XD

Princess Celestia: … Princess Luna: If they loved me, if they adored me they would love and adore what represented me and yet, when night falls, they lock themselves away and sleep, waiting for the sun. It’s not me they love, but my crown and the word “princess” in front of my name.
Theory: Dream is the most sad with the first songs(mainly the first one) because it reminded him of nightmares past and night being bullied into eating the negativity apple.

Both are excellent responses to Lullaby, but I find Soliloquy more likely (granted, I think that one is just a song, rather than an animation) .
