In solid edge, same piston would be done with 50% lesser mouse clicks. As this is a tutorial, drawing time is perhaps longer than usual. Nice tutorial! Doe I like inventor, but I prefer solid edge as I can do a piston like that in about little under 3 minutes using solid edge v.20 and probably half the time of that in solid edge st10. I used to use inventor before at a time some versions of solid edge, long back in time was poorer on visual quality like render and glossiness; "the metall feel". Then later solid edge become better than inventor agen at version 12 and I got stuck with solid edge forever. I think I might have tried all top 10 + all the rest- drawing programs on the marked to day. Solid Works are one of the most crap programs I ever tried, solid works 2016 pissed me of and so did all the otter older versions to as I tried them all. Solid Edge on first place and Inventor on second perhaps, then solid works on last place and all the otter in between is really not anything to waste time on.
Thanks a lot for submitting your user experience this will be helpful for others. We work on various CAD software and show same type of work with various software. Viewers can watch and then decide which suits to them more. We never judge any software. Thanking you once again.

all dimensions are in inches, but later they become mm.
