Lixian - GOAT Game Maker, Composer, Animater, Editor and More!!! Seriously when Damien and Warfstache Clicker came up, I was dancing and said, "Here. We. Go. BABY!"
Excellent video! Just like your previous one, it has genuinely convinced me into playing these games. When I get the spare time in my life to just download small gamejolt games I will be going straight to Lixian. And of course, the video was spectacular. I dont want sound too much like a critic but I think you balanced your fangirling and proper reviewing very well to make the video both entertaining and informative. Have a good day!
God, this video just reminded me of a very vivid dream I had about the submarine game tonight. I was just playing (I was IN the submarine myself) the game however the submarine looked just a tad different with 2 more windows on each side and the monster being more malicious and smarter as I could understand it talk. I did also struggle to deter said monster with light never knowing where it was. Nothing too exciting happened in it but I liked hammering the walls, it felt nice.
The sad Realisation that Walking dead destinies, a AAA game, looks so similar to Damian despite Damian being made by one man on a time crunch on his first attempt at making 3d games, albeit a talented man
Lixian is a very talented guy. While none of his talents feel fully fleshed out, all of them are still pretty good, and as a huge fan of his my only complaint is that his upload schedule and work ethic is woefully inconsistent. But hey, as long as he’s happy!
I kinda disagree with the "you don't need a threat for an horror game". Because horror games are supposed to be scary, and what's scarier is feeling like you're life is being threatened by something or someone. Thats why war, terrorism, and nature is so terrifying. Without a threat, its just an ASMR relaxing game.
I sort of agree with this; however, with many people (including myself), merely the idea of a threat can be enough to cause fear. Yes, knowing the threat is not real majorly detracts from replayability, but the first playthrough only being a looming threat can make the game just as scary as a game with an active threat, and sometimes even more scary (some horror games with active threats can at times feel more annoying than actually scary after only a few deaths). In summary, while I agree that no active threat majorly decreases from the replayablity and no threat at all is not a good idea, I disagree with the idea that having a passive threat makes a horror game worse than those with active threats.
Why do people like Lixian exist who are talented in literally every category? Why can some people just solo create masterpieces for no reason ?
I know another called Toby Fox as well
One word: practice
@@ms.pirate I know another one named Eric Barone

I’d argue that Temmie deserves the art credit, but I can’t deny Burgerpants is peak
@@sumthinorother9615 true, but I meant that toby is an programmer, writter, and musician.

I accidentally slept in today, but it’s okay because I would up just in time to witness this video drop! Another awesome video!

I vaguely remember that one Iron Lung game in the past, so I gotta give Lixian massive kudos for his work.

HE IS PORTUGUESE 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
Victoria’s Siren looks a lot like a Zeekers game. It has a very similar style to The Upturned
The only criticism of Lixian that I have is that he has too much talent
Can you believe it? Banban! Just a week away!

If you don't know if there's a threat or not, it can still be scary. But after you realise there's no threat it'll feel less satisfying, I guess
Awful vid😀
