Yeah very shy kid but he embraces the pressure for sure, a lot of people doubted him at the start of the season especially after taking the number 10 shirt. Massive burden to carry being in a team that was struggling, a toxic fan base and many thought the number would be too heavy for him but so far he’s took it in his stride and really relishing his opportunities. The only thing that’s gonna slow ESR down is injuries, and hopefully he can hold a healthy run of form/fitness.
Southgate doesn't get enough praise for what he's done. I know we are blessed with talent in this squad but the whole atmosphere looks so chilled and the players look so relaxed and happy to see each other. There is no divides. They genuinely seem happy together.
