I was smiling and watching until they said "I was about to cry" and suddenly realised that, Aqua is really gone. Tears formed too quickly in my eyes when i realised.

Well... Aqua is gone. Sakuna helps to lessen the sadness, but I don't understand why this trivializes this fact so much for some people. I don't see how it makes it any less painful to know that we'll never see her again with the other holo girls, laughing together, singing together. We won't have any more concerts of hers, she won't be here to personally welcome the next gens. It's like a member of a family leaving home, far away. Of course, I'm infinitely grateful that we have Sakuna, but Aqua was Aqua for all these things too...

At this point there are so many deeply heartwarming messages and memories there, those servers must be preserved
Just yesterday I commented on the clip of Vivi singing Aqua Iro Palette, wondering if Flow Glow members would ever read Aqua's message, before they move on to the new server.... I'm glad they did 😊

now that they'll be having a new server, i hope the upcoming talents will have access to the old server for this
Kaela said the server will stay up but won't be updated (so probably will stay at 1.21.1 completely I think) since new updates might break it. So any new gens who used to be and are still fans could ask management to open it for them if nothing breaks in a couple years
They do, this is like, the 3rd or 4th HoloMC server already too, the one Kaela's making would be the 4th or 5th. I remember Miko visiting the previous servers for her 1 million subscribers special, so the previous servers are definitely accessible still.
I bet Aqua saw this when the members of Flow Glow read the note she left for them and she's probably smiling and happy
If it already hurts now that is still quite recent I can't imagine the wave of feelings when a new gen reads it in a few years
Aqua was always a big agitator of the HoloMinecraft scene, even when she didn't mean to just by her presence alone. I hope the FlowGlow gals can make the new server as dynamic as that.

What would have been like if the other former members regardless if they have graduated, retired and terminated AND/OR regardless of their statuses would have done if they were still here?
Aqua's legacy and her spirit really continues to endure and live on to the full extent of Hololive and to all Holomembers and fans alike both old and new. 😄🙂
Although it is a beautiful moment, ...I remember now with anger how the some people in reddit and x also used Aqua's graduation as a reason to hate hololive or see it as a horrible place to be there, when you notice that Aqua enjoyed her stay in Holo. There are even some who have not completely "graduated", that something that could be said to be rare to know, If it were so "horrible", those cases would not exist.
Is it really a surprise? Everyone knows majority of them are libs who preached love but are always vindictive and hypocrites. A simple search onto their bios like those vtweeters and anti lolis always end up with pronouns or pride flag.

They always doesn't close the old server. I will be a museum server and there's like the otger old servers where you can see pekodam and mikodam they can always visit it whenever they want.

I was kinda irritated at the beginning because it looks like viewers spammed Chihaya's stream to go read Aqua's letter, she had to explain it twice that they're planning to go there last.
But well, it's good that Chihaya and Shupishuwa surveyed the server beforehand so they can enter the underground site safely (though they had a bit of trouble getting out lmao).

Besides FlowGlow, are there any clips of Holomems who read Akutan's message for them? Also, When the new server opens, can they still revisit this server?
This server isn't going anywhere, the new one is just a fresh start for everyone for play purposes.
@@mofu7852 To be specific, this server will be left as a museum server, and Holomems playing will have full access to it.
I saw a recent clip of Pekora reading her letter. If you search for "pekora reads aqua letter" you will find it along with a few other clips involving other Holomems.
Besides Pekora I don't know who else read theirs

Still with so many members in different generations, it's undeniable that so many of them collab with so many others. They had many groups and combo names. Honestly I've lost count how many groups/combos are there now, especially the ones who retired, graduated and terminated. They were iconic too and yes your right. Bonds are the ones hurt the most.

Not to bring the down vibes further and this is kinda irrelevant but this is also why pretty much any graduate would do “worse” compared to their time in hololive (at least in terms of live stream viewers/total views). Outside of the first few weeks/months of hype, a certain amount of fans would find things different and gradually stop watching.

But if you’re asking why her numbers are stable or anything, then I’d argue that outside of individual talent, it helps that a few hololive members have continuously talked about her even turning her into some sort of meme which still gives that bond that most of us search for

@@Meonium Sakutan will not do it. She tends to keep her life as Sakuna away from her period as Aqua. The only time she pulled the veil a bit was in the room reviews, and even then she never acknowledged Minato Aqua directly.

She's busy streaming actually, although a lot less frequently than typical for Hololive. Not that she specifically was terribly active last years...
We should be really thankful and glad that she's still streaming - even just a little bit - because she had planned to fade from the internet after her graduation.
@@ZorathCursed Actually she was extremely active last year. She streamed everyday for 100+ days ever since Golden Week. Though in hindsight that was probably when she made her final decision.
Even before 2024 when she took some break here and there. She was still not as inactive as many people thought she was. Some other popular talent also doesn't stream as much (like only 1-2 per week and sometimes miss a week or two) like marine, suisei and some others.
Miss that cute little onion-maid.
