It’s about their insecurities and their darkest moments, their “ungodly hour.” Not everything has to have such a dark metaphor behind it. I know the industry is dark but that does not mean everything behind it is dark. These ladies have a good head on their shoulders and not everything that has the word god in it does not necessarily mean it has to have religious undertones behind it.

Incredible. These girls are the best artist/performers alive. I hope they drop another album in 2021 and get all the awards. There’s nobody better and more interesting in my opinion. ChloexHalle just saved music with pure talent & class. I truly love them , they’re so sweet and hardworking.
This was not one of my favorite album songs but I'm getting into it after tiny desk hit it with trumpets (i did miss that here). I appreciate that halle enunciates while singing. I dont need a lyric video to catch her words.
