I am also currently studying EEE in NTU Year 2 and there were so many times where I related to the pain in the video. Thanks for letting us EEE juniors know we are all suffering TGT and that the course is ridiculously hard. Also, I swear year 2 mods hits different. Covid ain't making things easier too... Honestly thinking of skipping a final and retaking the course next semester...
Hi, thank you so much for this video. It's really insightful as you shared your entire curriculum in 4 years and even your struggles as well. Very thankful!
Came across this video when i was curious about how others thought of NTU EEE. sadly speaking i was a poly grad and when through direct year 2 EEE and it really pains me and its kind of relatable with what you mentioned in this video. hope i would be able to graduate just like you.
Hi! NTU CBE freshie here! Now it is the 4th week of school and I'm struggling with my mods :( But after watching ur vid I feel better knowing I am not the only one struggling with physics, thank you so much for the informative video!
Thanks for your informative video. I am applying for NTU this year to pursue EEE. Can you advise me what things that i can do to impress the admission committee, like which courses i should study beforehand or which products i can do( i have 1 month left)? Thank you in advance
Great video for everyone who wants to know how's ntu eee! I'm currently in my last sem of uni, have decided to extend 1 more sem than my peers, and entered as a direct year 2 student from poly. Whatever she mentioned, I can totally relate and wished that before I studied in this course, there were such videos out there that shared more about school life, curriculum, etc from the perspective of ntu eee students. Tbh I felt that I'm just wasting time and money studying this course, especially I don't really see myself being in the engineering sector in the future.. I'm just trying to survive in uni and grad next year. Advice to others is that please choose your courses wisely and know what's yours interest, passion, etc, don't be like me who just wants to continue the same field/course in uni and didn't thought much about it :)
same im also direct y2 doing my internship now. Honours gone just after y2 also extending one sem because y3s2 gonna be hectic. No interest really just trying to pass get my cert and fk off
what class of hounours did u get? was it a second lower and above? can u find good jobs with third class/pass with eee? cuz it sounds really tough to study so much and yet get bad results, it hurts
@@p_jiameng Hi, may I know in what way? what is the difference btw NUS and NTU EEE? I am planning to apply both but I really do not know which one I want to go to... It wld be really helpful to get some answers, thank you!
Heyyy. Really informative video there. Mind if I could ask, since what age has you and your bf gotten together, and is it hard to maintain it during your life in ntu eee.
Hi, i didnt do well for my studies and never have been but i think i might be able to enter NTU PT EEE, if i put in effort to study although i'm not academically inclined, can i pass this degree? Or should i stick to something i have passion for in SUSS?
Hi, I was mainly involved in hall committees like I did the planning for dinner & dance for my hall of residence. Other than that... I was buried by eee workload lol
Do you think I should accept going in NTU EEE or NUS EE, deadline is at 24 may and I am panicking >_< is NTU professor teaching quality good tho? :o I see a few negative comment on it :(
I’m not too sure about the curriculum structure of NUS EE so I can’t advise on that. There are definitely professors who can teach better regardless in NTU/NUS. Do more research on the course offered by both schools and see which one aligns more with your career goal, all the best!

Yes glad you pull through l want go uni also no chances as what you said bell curve for admission. My gpa after below 3 to enroll for uni poly max is 3.4 GPA. Haiz..my gpa is. Like 2.3/4 so to enroll uni is very hard for a poly student
TIP: Spread ur modules load to 3.5 years if u are particular about ur honours unless u are very confident with ur academics. Coz some of my EEE poly friends their gpa dip from the start, esp after NS. EEE is easy for poly but hard af for Uni so brace urself.

NUS EEE is better

Haha we got together when I was 19, he was 21. I don’t think it’s difficult to maintain if you’re with the right partner :)
@@GISELLEJ I see. Can I ask if you guys had any relationship experience prior to that ?

If you intend to work in the office it’s better to take a general or business degree mostly ntu eee if you like to do hands on or built robot

My A level results did not meet the admission criteria for business :)

@@GISELLEJ I am attempting for full-time applications even if my gpa are low 😊should see heehee Cant wait to apply
How did the poly students fare? I'm starting school soon as a direct y2 and I'm gonna be in for a tough time.
The curriculum for direct year 2 students very hectic. For almost every single semester, the average AU is around 20AU. Be prepared and all the best!
Just don't. Thank me later.

No worries!
semi cond is extremely hard !
What is the dropout rate?
Did you try switching course?
Haha yes I actually did
@@GISELLEJ icic! I'm actually a y1 eee student. Was wondering how hard it is to change course, say to business
Do you have any laptop recommendations for EEE? Thank you:)
I think iPad Pro is perfect! Can use it for lecture notes and even add on your own:)
And for coding? Any specific feature in a laptop that would be useful?
Watching this the night before AE paper and all i feel is PAIN
感受到了学渣的痛苦
I hate signals and systems
I hate analogue electronics
And all coding subjects totally sucks
Screwed up y1s1 (dont even know how) so I am here HAHHAA
Wait gpa is not counted in year 1? Is it an automatic process or you have to apply for it?
watching this after getting a horrible first sem gpa , direct year 2 EEE btw hahaha
hope this video helps, all the best for coming semesters!!
how's ur 2nd sem gpa? oh man im incoming year 2 i hope i get higher gpa
I feel ya
Can feel the pain when heard of Analog electronics haha
Ikr hahaha
EE2008 is a nightmare
Direct year 2 EEE curriculum is worst LOL HAHA

Do you think a minor is useful? Will employers look at your minor?
Depends on what minor you choose to specialise in. If you don't intend to pursue a career related to your major, then you can consider doing a minor.
