My husband comes home from the office a little later than my grown son and I. So when hubs arrives, he is so tired and doesn't want to be bothered with the cuteness of our 10 month old Corgi. In other words, our Phoenix is determined to get some "ahhhh, Papa's home....I will make him love me", so she jumps and wants an open mouth (not biting but he claims she is...) and I can tell my husband is not nearly as impressed as we are. How do I calm her for the entrance (or train my husband lol!) and keep her from putting her mouth on him? I've been trying, but not sure I'm doing it correctly or consistently.
One more, sorry Rachel. Our Phoenix LOVES to be near me and seems to crave my attention. Can't imagine why...because I give it to her all the time. But I tend to give her a bully stick or Yak chew while she is in my presence - like every day. Is that bad for her?
Rachel all I wanna say is Thank You. i'm getting my Toy Cavoodle in 10 days and you have helped SOOOOO much. I look up to you and I would have never gotten all this info without you. Thank You love from, Australia
Absolutely love this video! I always have trouble finding affordable products that are practical AND aesthetic!!! Thank you so much for sharing, Rachel :)
Rachel, I am wondering if these beds are non toxic. I have organic dog beds from Savvy Rest which are made of natural latex. I thought memory foam was toxic. You can get a waterproof liner for the Savvy Rest bed. I put their mattresses in their crates but in the living room I put them into a gorgeous basket from Amish Baskets. We got rid of everything in our house with memory foam.
I’ve been eyeing a rug/bed for a while now for my little guy. I would love to see a video dedicated to product recommendations for either hearing or seeing impaired doggos ^_^ My 11 year old half pug/mini pin is 100% blind. I just say I’m his seeing eye hooman ❤️ Thank you for this awesome video and great recommendations as always! ^_^
Love videos like this!!❤️ I've wanted so much money buying the wrong stuff🤦♀️ my latest search is an aesthietic waist leash, not having much luck so far
I understand people wanted products that look good in there home but honestly I just think about things my dogs would like and feel safe in I Personally could care less about looks I really just care about my dogs what they like and want not saying my dog wouldn’t like these products but it’s not something that I would really care about you may not like the ugly crates but to my dog that is there home there safe place and they love it!
The most important thing is that your dog loves it! Sounds like you’re doing great. I’m not obsessive over everything being perfectly aesthetic but if I have the option between dog stuff that matches and looks good in my home I’m always going to choose that option.
I am getting a new dog and I am just not sure what I should get in order to make my puppy feel safe. I have already gotten a mat and a crate but I am just curious on what I can get to make my spaniel poodle to feel at home. I also would like to know what good boys I should get for a new puppy.
Hi Rachel, My cousin got a puppy in the summer and they have been potty training and she pees outside but she doesn't go number 2 outside, my cousins mom was outside with her one day for awhile and then when she brought her back in she pooped on the floor inside so just wondering if you had any tips that would help alot. Thanks 😁
Hi, I am new to your channel and love the way you show us how to train are puppies. But I am have a question can you still train a 1yr old puppy to go potty outside, I am having a lot of trouble with that. Does the crate method work?
Hi rachel, the wired crate in your shop page has a lot of videos showing dogs getting out and there was even someone who said that their dog got it’s head stuck in it and died. Is there any other wired crate you recommend?
@@RachelFusaro Here is the link to the crate- www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QFT1RC?ie=UTF8&th=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=rachelfusar0e-20&linkId=8fa6bdf29d594573fa98cf199e1add7a&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl Here is a link to the review saying their puppy died- www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1TQKSU0EMVU05/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B000QFT1RC There are many more negative reviews and by scrolling for 5 minutes I saw two saying their dog is dead or injured so bad they were put down.
If my puppies try to bite on the bed, i simply remove the bed quickly (not saying anything) then gave them something they COULD chew. i did this over and over, and eventually, they found more value in chewing things they were allowed to chew on and not the bed! Also, because the paw puprugs lay flat, they usually arent as appealing to bite on!
Always helpful. Rachel. So with what you've shared here, I need to budget ~$1,000 for puppy start-up costs...before I even bring them home from the humane society/ shelter..
More than that. I should make a video on this, good idea. But adopting a puppy startup costs is usually more than $1,000. Vet visits, training, food, toys, crate, bedding, grooming, pet insurance, puppy proofing etc.
Great question! Over hyper/stimulated means they've passed their threshold to regulate themselves. Just like a toddler, this can lead to "poor behavior" aka acting out, tantrums etc. Over tired can have the same effect! hope that helps
What puppy questions do you have?! Let me help!

Love these rug/bed/mats. They are for the dogs and really anyone that wants a mat-like floor pad. Comfy.

I was wondering the same thing.....they're super cute but when I hear memory foam I run the other way

I have learned SOOOOO much from you, Rachel!! I Digg that crate. lol!! But it is so cool and looks nice for the family room. Must invest.
love what you did there 😉

OMG tysm! And i have the PERFECT one for you: shrsl.com/3qf4h I just got the Andromeda & gravity colors, STUNNINGGGGG and work very well.
The average couch isn’t wide enough for a bolster for a big dog. The rug bed is okay if the dog doesn’t go through to the floor.

Don’t usr the tuft and needle beds anymore?
Any tips to stop them chewing up their bed
My dog just eats everything. So we can’t buy new blankets and new toys. All he wants to do is rip them apart.
My beagle pup does too. 😫😫

i do not understand the idea of a pup or any dog being hyper and being over tired as they seem to be opposite.
