Thank you so much for letting us all tagalong on your trip to Japan! And for showing us around the neighborhood and be sure to thank your family for the tour of their lovely home. As someone who doesn't get to travel much, it's been a wonderful treat to see new places! Safe travels for you and your family.
I like the way you've taken elements of your NYC videos and brought them into this one - drink machine, bike, room features/dimensions etc. Re: dryers, a lot of ppl here in Australia have a backyard clothesline, and use that instead of a dryer. I don't have a backyard but use indoor drying racks. It's a lot cheaper than a dryer!
When I was young like you I liked new houses. No I love and appreciate older houses because they have character and tend to be very unique. The older homes that you point out are amazing and a part of history.
Yet another great video, so interesting. Looks like the family is settling in and relaxing , away from constant honking of horns and sirens blasting. Sometimes when you get out of the city you can't sleep, it's too quiet. You get used to street noises, sort of like ''street lullabies". I look forward to these videos. That stove/oven looks a bit complicated, and see, there is life after sink sprayers.
Been to Japan a few times the rural areas are very relaxing. I know the small cars are called Kei cars, the Motors are under 1 liter or 660 cc. The license plate is usually yellow for a lower registration fee.
Thank you Cash for taking the time out of your vacation to show us your home and Japan. I look forward to seeing your videos every day. You have a beautiful family.❤️💕 Violet is a doll!
Can't wait to see this home!! Really like this area Cash! Love the mountains and the house and the view! Thank you so much for sharing your new home. Stay safe and enjoy your new surroundings.
Beautiful. What a lovely family home. I hope you're enjoying your family and vacation even though your working. I pray Violet is making many wonderful memories with family and friends 💝 🙏💝 safe travels. I sure am enjoying learning more about your family and Japan. 💝🙏💝
I like that no one wears their shoes inside . My sister has lived in Alaska for 40 Years five miles from glacier bay. No one wears shoes or mostly rubber boots inside. Lots of sand in the dirt but I also think its a respect thing.
These Japan videos will age like a fine wine. Cool transitions, cooler music, culture and great sight seeing, family plus an apartment tour; what's not to love! Cash how much would a pay like that cost from your perspective?
I wish I was there! I was born in Osaka sixty-eight years ago. The US Army hospital was there but my folks and brother lived in Kobe on a mountain side. They brought me back to the US when I was only eight weeks old so sadly I don’t have any memory of Japan.
I'm having so much fun tagging along with you on your family holiday. Lovely views and everything looks so clean. Can't wait for the next instalment Cash. Thanks.
my church we had some foreign exchange students from China, Japan, stayed with us. They said our house in China would cost millions of dollars. They did not see houses with 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. made me feel really good.
I find it fascinating that there are signs in both Japanese and English with Roman letters making it a little easier for you to get around. I really love these travelogues. How are you doing working this remotely? You seem so calm juggling it all.
It’s just so lovely the way you just kinda accept everything. Like you are just saying, “I’m ignorant but check this out, it’s cool”. It’s so Zen, man. Carry it on!
Wow! Cash, Are you in kyoto? I’m pretty exiting! I’m living in Osaka.Welcome to Japan! I can’t believe it. Because I have been watching your video for a year to learn English and see nyc town. Then you are in neighbour town now!
One of the best home tours because it looks lived in. I love that and I don't feel like I need to clean my house for a change. Great place and the view is amazing.
@@josephsf2452 their apartment looked like that as well. Apparently his wife grew up with that. So she doesnt care about the clutter. Because from what I could tell she doesnt work and he does. But she doesnt clean house that's for sure.
Cash, I look forward to your videos, it is so interesting how you tour and describe everything. Informative tour of the inside of the Japanese house. Love your videos, all the countryside views are great. Thanks for bringing us along on your travels!
Love and appreciate all these. Fun seeing you shift back to realtor in this one, was smiling the whole time. You're always a breath of fresh (and fun and informative) air. Thank you.
Your house is that cluttered? I couldn't do it. I'm not a clean freak and I don't care about fancy things at all. But that would be xo uncomfortable to live in.
The unique birdbath statues for your garden were actual Buddhist tombstones lol… Also, the LIXIL banner was for a showroom of their stuff. LIXIL is a huge home design and modular unit supplier. They make many of the unit baths in Japan like the one you described in your wife’s family home. Most Japanese homes have so many prefab units throughout the homes as the life expectancy of most homes is like 30 years at best. Finally, only the yellow plate cars have the motorcycle engines; 0.6 litre and you get many kickbacks like cheaper toll road fees. They still will get to 160 kph on the highway (double most speed limits), as they are pretty stripped down for insulation which saves tonnes of weight.
Thank you for the tour. So cool to see an authentic Japanese home and neighborhood. I hope you all have a wonderful adventure and Violet gets all the love and hugs her grandparents have been saving for her.
What a tranquil-looking area. It seems so quiet and open, and I really like the big kitchen, living area. The house is big for me. I like how the space is used. Thank you for a very nice, relaxing home tour.
Im so excited to see these video's of Japan. My son is going to go to Japan for work and it's nice to be able to see what it's like . I love it. The house is so cute. But no sink sprayer lol. Have the best time ever!!! Thank you for these video's Cash!!!😀❤
Kyoto Co-op is a supermarket chain. Looks like you're in front of one of their grocery distribution centers. Also looks like you're not in the city of Kyoto, but one of the smaller cities in Kyoto prefecture.
We were taught growing up in Germany (my mom is German and still lives there) to take our shoes off and I still do it here in the US. The only time I don’t take my shoes off is when I’m bringing in groceries from the garage which is once a week. Great video!
My first job was in Tokyo in 1999 - my apartment was about 150 sq ft and the few times I had a Japanese friend over (if they could fit...) they remarked at how spacious it was! I don't care if you're in a suburb of Kyoto - that is still a massive house for Japan.
Neat view of Japan, I always think of modern city of Tokyo. The Japanese do things just slightly different in a cool way. Also nice to see others have tons of clutter!
Very close together places where you might need a barber or Indian food. Love how you show us all that you can while there at your in laws house. Looking forward to your next Japanese adventure
Will miss seeing you around the city, congrats on the new adventure with your family. Nyc getting worse everyday, good for the family to get out for awhile. Stay safe and thanks for showing us your next life chapter
The vending machines sitting out in the open along the road reminds me of the corner cigarette machine I’d walk by when I was staying in Germany a few years back! Such a sight was quite surprising to say the least!
Hey cash … I love your New York apartment vids … but I’m really loving your Japanese adventures … I love the laid back energy that seems to prevail there .. you’ve now got me interested in visiting at some point in my future .. altho doubt I’d get anywhere near as lovely as this I have to say .. all my best to you and your family and your in laws 💞
This is great, Cash! It's a pleasure to see a Japanese house and how it works and to see the surrounding area. I'm looking forward to what's next.
I have been fascinated by the Japanese culture for a long time. I love watching your exploration of this beautiful culture and country.
Thank you so much for letting us all tagalong on your trip to Japan! And for showing us around the neighborhood and be sure to thank your family for the tour of their lovely home. Elephant in the room.. stuff everywhere.. not an organised home i must say.. but nice to see Japan's countryside.
So nice to see a real lived in home.
So clean! I love so much about Japanese society and history. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for sharing your home in Japan 🥰
Thanks!
Japan looks so clean all of the time

Somehow where you are living now reminds me of the late 60's in the country. Sweet.
Really loving "our" vacation. The traditional architecture is stunning. Thanks for the tour!!! 🥰
you got it!
@@CashJordan I think someone is spoofing you in comments, with your photo and a What’s App #. I got one yesterday. You might need to block them!

Ahhhhhh yes, the infamous sink sprayer ! 😆
@Lisa B. You are certainly right, there IS life after sink sprayers. But I’m pretty glad I have mine….lol
i love how well designed, and minimalist the Japanese are... would love to live around Japan for a while those little kei vans are really neat
Thank you for sharing someplace I will never be able to go to and see. ❤️
Kyoto is one of my favs the fall is so colorful

Some of the mountainside cities between Osaka & Kobe are some of the posher suburbs of Japan.
Must have been quite the year for your mother! :)
Not one piece of litter or garbage in sight. Amazing!

He is in a town called Omiyacho Suki which is near Kyotengo ( and about 2 hours drive from Kyoto City) I think it’s 2 hours
Tell the family thank you for sharing their home with us. Beautiful country.

One of the best home tours because it looks lived in. I love that and I don't feel like I need to clean my house for a change. Great place and the view is amazing.
Hard to ignore the wires, though. I wonder what it looked like before all that arrived.
lived in? it looks like a hoarders nightmare !

That’s a very rude comment. Who are you to say whether someone cleans or not. Just bc there is clutter, doesn’t mean it’s not clean.

That's a big house by Japanese standards. Looks peaceful and relaxing there.
Tuned in ☕️
Wow you looked relaxed
Coop is like instacart in US, but you get your groceries weekly in a freezer box at your entrance. They have a great variety of rice.
Loved the house tour! Please thank everyone for the peek inside their lovely home.
I really like that you take off your shoes at the door. I wish I could get my husband to do that.
Love and appreciate all these. Fun seeing you shift back to realtor in this one, was smiling the whole time. You're always a breath of fresh (and fun and informative) air. Thank you.
It's neat to see what homes are like in Japan. The clutter with things sitting everywhere would drive me nuts though.
Actually nice to see a house as cluttered as mine. Looks like a great place
I was thinking the very same thing! 😉
Your house is that cluttered? I couldn't do it. I'm not a clean freak and I don't care about fancy things at all. But that would be xo uncomfortable to live in.
Heavy cliutter makes a home look dirty.
I can’t say that I am never cluttered. But If someone was taking pictures, things would be put away.

This is way out in the countryside, in Kyoto prefecture, not Kyoto city. He does not know the difference.
You are smart. You switched countries in a real estate crisis. Not too many people can do that. I wish you the best.
