It's pretty common for fans to "copy" the artist's opinion on an album and many form their opinion based on that without giving it a proper listen. Em has voiced many times how he dislikes the "accents" but the reality is that Relapse is full of bangers and its the accent that makes some of the crazy word plays possible. Also just speaks to how good the album is when this song is on the bonus disc :D The chorus has to be one of his best
Is a joke I didn't get or is normal in the end I see this same comment on every Eminem's songs actually 😄😄😄 I guess it does that effect to any good new listener just discovering his whole discography perhaps 😉😉😄🌿🤸
Ok I am confused now. I myself love this song and I see people in this comment section not just loving this song but also appreciating the whole Relapse album even though I heard the album was hated a lot by fans and Eminem himself
@@arko5959 I think Em’s hate for it comes from a place of embarrassment rather than the fact that it isn’t good, especially lyrically. From the accents, to all of the rape and murder, and for the fact that it’s not really something you can usually just sit and bump to. But I definitely think it’s his best album
i had music box, this song and some other songs from relapse on repeat at an airport AGES ago (i dont even remember how long but I know it was very long ago) since i had ran out of songs, and business was one of the songs. now those songs remind me of it, mainly this song and business.
Fun fact, this Chorus was recorded in 2006 for LP6 (scrapped album). Most people call it KM but that was a separate thing around the same era. The verses got swapped out for Relapse, apparently the original song was entirely dedicated to Proof.

2:20 he actually said “fecund”, - producing or capable of producing an abundance of offspring or new growth; fertile. What a foreshadow of 2020 rappers
Explain the symbolism because i`m pretty sure it`s just short for "them", its not that deep. The real shit going on in this track is the cadence and rhyme schemes.
@@mohammadabdali3871 em is short for Them but he uses it and emphasizes it because it is short for his name (EMinem) “The I shove Em in the elevator, take Em to the top, stand above Em just to cut the fuckin cable let Em drop, walk an hour to the damn refrigerator get a pop as I let Em fall all the way to the bottom yelling stop” The slim shady persona that shoves people in elevators and does these things was actually taking Eminem/Marshall to the top, getting him out of rock bottom (his impoverished and tough life), bringing* him to the top (fame and fortune), just to mess with him as he took everything he loved (his friend, his wife, his privacy, his health, his mental well being). May be a stretch but I would think not given the amount of nostalgia in this song that might seem like nothing more than horrorcore at first glance. Also Em uses symbolism and is a genius so I’d think he has an overt meaning to a lot of his lyrics. Ties into My Darling and in The Monster music video there are ties to this song.
I really don't understand how people hated relapse relapse rx2 and Revival to me they're amazing I truly do not get it I don't think they listen to the lyrics. Because like relapse I love the serial killer Vibe the way he basically portrays a serial killer and how he tells the stories with Revival I love how he was just kind of putting his heart on his sleeve and everyone just shitt on it so I don't really get it either they're stupid or maybe it's racism I don't know but if you literally listen to the lyrics how can you hate them I mean that's kind of look at a Light song where he doesn't betray a serial killer on relapse beautiful that song is fucking amazing then I thought he put two songs together on Revival but it actually is three like holy shit who does That? There are lyrical masterpieces too
Btw wasn't the chorus a little emotional unlike the verses😂
