Ha Ri is such a mature, caring and lovable girlfriend. She's already a wife material. She even apologized thinking that she might have hurt or offended Tae Moo. I felt the warmth of that hug.

Hari hugging Taemu was chef’s kiss. For a really tall guy, he looked just like a kid who needed comfort in this scene. And its good that they had changed details in the manhwa but still preserved the storyline.
This is what I appreciate the most from this series. As the manhwa reader, I don’t mind the details being changed a little bit as long as they preserved the important storyline like this. The actors executed this perfectly but also the behind the scene team captured this perfectly. Did you even notice that the lights reflection during the hug scene was heart shaped? That’s very cute and brings out the manhwa overall feels 🥹🥹🥹 I cried here and I even repeated this scene.. that was extremely sweet and Hari is very considerate🥹🥹🥹

These changes that were made to the story make it even more entertaining to watch, even as a manhwa reader, because a big part of the scenes present in the drama are different or completely new. Even as a manhwa reader, you don't know what to expect fully. You're not just watching a literal adaptation of the manhwa but a new version of the storyline. And it is delivered perfectly. Although the scenes and interactions are new, the plot and characters preserve.
Shin Hari appreciation post: Them walking together under an umbrella, the cute subway ride, a stroll in the flower market and nice intimate dinner, all the while her trying to prevent him from facing the rain - is just so so so WHOLESOME. Shin Hari is indeed the real MVP! 😌
I totally love how they didn't use his trauma as just a plot device and for sympathy but treated it as an actually painful memory he could temporarily forget when he's with her. I love how she let him talk about his happy memories with his parents (hotdog) but didn't force him to talk on the accident/trauma cuz she knows he isn't ready yet. And i love how he was observant and was able to read through her. I love HaTae couple, they're everything
The chemistry they have is NO JOKE. They talk with their eyes and the body language explains how much trust they have on each other. This episode really showed that How Much Hari cares for Tae-moo she in her own way tried to protect him without hurting his feelings even when Taemoo found out that she knows about his Trauma she apologized her if when it wasn't her fault. She's so considerate of his emotions. This is the example of TRUE LOVE 🥺

The way Hari try to distract Tae Moo’s attention with more talking and she follow Tae Moo’s body rhythm from watching outside ✋🏻 small details but yet so meaningful 😭💕 (Trauma is not a joke) I love this week episode and every episode is a happy pills and warm-hearted scene.
i love how she doesnt want him to force himself to open up about his trauma. this drama may seem like a typical rom-com but to me it includes emotional healing and stuff that people actually experience in real life. its sad that not much people pay attention to these things
Not to be dramatic, but I noticed that too. I tried recommending healing type of dramas to some people and they shut me down. Kinda understandable if they just prefer comedy or romcoms, but it is still sad to think that they are not even interested to try.
This scene made me think that maybe, just maybe, there really is someone out there meant for you. You may think you arent worthy to love with all your excess baggages and issues (e.g. his trauma and her lack of confidence to be with him) but that person meant for you, will still love you despite all your imperfections.

This part really showed the depth of Shin Hari’s love for Taemoo. She handled it perfectly and maturely. I was so touched with her gestures to lessen the triggers of his trauma & protect Taemoo from the rain. Taemoo was afraid of showing his weaknesses to her but Hari even apologized if he got offended & even showed enough comfort & love that he needed in his weakest moments. She’s the sweetest & most thoughtful girlfriend. Taemoo’s kiss here is the most precious out of their kisses so far, showed how he’s comforted by her presence. His rainy days are finally brighter with Hari. They’re a perfect match. Just as Kang Taemoo setting the standards high, Shin Hari raised the bar too high as well!!

We can see at first taemu is kind of doubt and braving himself ask hari about the nearby restaurant bcs he dont want to show his weakness and want to make hari happy, but then hari tell him to go to another place instead and be with him until rain stop. The way how hari try her best to make taemu feel comfortable without make him looks weak is really beautiful esp in restaurant when she change her sitting position beside him and taemu who notice about hari action then give her sweet peck is also beautiful. Hari’s gesture towards Taemo before and after they’re official is totally different. One of Hari’s love language is physical touch and Sejeong portrayed it perfectly - from the distance when they’re sitting down, her gaze, her smile, her body that’s leaning naturally towards him, and more especially her hand gestures throughout this week’s episodes. 2:38 There's no words i could use to explain how this part is soooo beautiful and heartwarming. Feels like a couple who have each others back. The way Hari tapped Taemu's back while hugging him, giving a message of whatever battles each of them have,together they will always comfort and trust each other.
This scene feels entirely different and you can really feel the love and gratefulness of them toward each other. Not only Taemu receiving warmth and healing in this scene but also the viewers. As a viewer, I really felt the warmth and comfort that Hari gives to Taemu. The changing of plans knowing that Taemu is traumatize to the rain, and the hug she gives to Taemu. Also, during the kiss scene in the restaurant that Taemu gives to Hari, I think it is one of the sweetest kiss I've ever witnessed in this drama. It shows Taemu's love and gratefulness towards Hari by not asking about his weakness and for being considerate.
The episode is truly legendary. In the end, it is not a matter of measuring which couple is more "burning", simply how they fell in love. Sung Hoon and Young Seo came together with a fierce and enthusiastic youth, they knew each other was their destiny at first sight, but later realized that going together is a long road. You need to open your heart and share. Tae Moo and Hari are different, they gradually realize how big their feelings for the other are, then gently love to silently protect each other. This is probably a scene I will watch again and again in the future, but Hari's quiet protection as well as Tae Moo's subtlety when realizing how it touched my heart will still be the same. today
This is one of the most heartwarming sequences in any kdrama. It may seem like simple things but the way Hari really went out of her way to make sure she protects Taemoo. This is even more heartwarming because the last few episodes we see Taemoo as the one who was always taking care and doing things for Hari, which is pretty basic "couple" things. But then we see Hari do this, and it is a lot more heartwarming because we know it's from a painful past. You can see the exact moment Taemoo fell in love with her more, and that makes this little peck a million times sweeter than any other kiss. Ahhh my love for HaTae. I just hope they don't actually make a Taemoo's grandpa and Hari's parents oppose their relationship. That was one things I really liked about the webtoon, having no cliche parental opposition. 🥺
Much as I enjoy K dramas what spoils them are the compulsory break ups that loom over the series. I find that I am waiting the break up to happen. I think that's why I enjoyed "Romance is a Bonus Book" so much was that they were friends from beginning to end and faced the difficulties together, rather than the cliche poor girl running away to save the rich boy from trouble. Similar plot, she even worked nutrition, "My Secret Romance".
Actually because of this drama I went to find out more about her... And Ha Ri brings me to fall in love in Se Jeong. This lady has a down to earth personality, kind hearted and considerate.. Look for her old videos during her trainee days you'll know. I just found out that she does musical too!!! She's the whole package and yet so humble

of all the dramas of Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyoseop that I watched before, this drama is definitely their best work, they convey the emotions of the characters they played effortlessly and very natural. I guess this is what made us rooting and keep following the series. the story is pretty common but the way every cast in the drama portray their characters, the way the scenes are written and how the director execute them, made the drama - in my opinion - very much enjoyable. I already feel some kind of withdrawal effect, realizing that the drama will end next week... (and somehow my Monday might be back to being dull again)
How delightful it is for a man to kiss the woman he loves, so randomly. It’s just lovely! To be in love and to love whenever, however, wherever, is one of the most enjoyable pleasures one can experience. How tender is this moment with those very soft kissable lips of Ahn Hye-Seop!!
I really like this scene because this represents how my mother has taught me love. Without words or big gestures, but the tea was always ready when I got home after a long day. As a teenager I always missed the bus. When I proudly told her I was getting better with my time management, she just smiled and encouraged me. Years later she confessed she'd secretly changed all the clocks in the house +5 min. For years I thought my mom didn't care for the news. Last week she mentioned she had always watched it at work and when I asked her why, she said: "It gave you too many nightmares as a kid". My mother showed love in many ways I never discovered until I moved out of the house when many of those habits suddenly changed. And seeing Ha-ri makes me realize I'm the same. And I'm proud. We are taught to place value in words. We want to hear "I love you". In "Our Beloved Summer", that's why Yeon-soo broke up with Choi Ung. But those words can easily be empty. When you grow older, you realize it is this subtle and unassuming love that is priceless beyond meaning.
The way Kang Tae-moo put his head onto Ha-ri's shows how vulnerable he is inside. I applaud Ha-ri's effort for doing that and I am shocked how Tae-moo actually got to notice those. They really mirror each other.
This series is filled with cliches(nothing wrong with them) but the delivery and development of this topic really moved me. She’s a wonderful actress and their chemistry is so good.
One of the things you get from watching kdramas on a whole is complexity and subtlety. Two things lacking in most Hollywood produced material. Kdrama writers are operating at a whole different level. She finds out about his parents dying in a car crash on a rainy day. Then she understands his freak out while he was driving in the rain. She understands him so much better. Then she does all these things on their date to avoid the rain and protect him. Then he understands what she is doing for him. It's not directly spoken but you get all of this from the scenes. From the words used and actions taken. This is something that isn't done in Hollywood where everything is made obvious. Making it all obvious though dumbs down the viewers. Not doing that makes viewers smarter and more aware. That is why I prefer watching kdramas now to Hollywood.
So trueee. That is why many people are into kdramas right now. Producing dramas on netflix really helped a lot to cater more audiences internationally and see the beauty in korean dramas all over the world. 🥰
Shin Hari is one of the best girlfriend in kdrama land. Ep. 10 showed us how amazing and great Shin Hari is, to her bestie, to her brother, to her parents and esp., to her boyfriend. She's so considerate and compassionate. She deserves everything in the world. Last 2 episodes, How am I going to say goodbye to my comfort drama, my comfort couple #HaTae :(
the healthiest drama couple in a long while, i feel. hari is understanding, protective, and gentle with him, never pushing him to reveal everything, and so accepting of who he is. other significant others i've seen in dramas try to "fix" their partners, but hari....acknowledges that sometimes, it doesn't just goes away, and it will be with him for life, maybe, in some capacity. so she holds his hand instead, takes him to flower shops, and waits until the rain stops with him. and maybe that's what taemu needed - not someone to make the trauma magically go away, but someone to stay with him until the rain would cease. and taemu is such a wonderful partner himself, appreciating and acknowledging her efforts, and trying his best to meet her somewhere in the middle. i love them dearly huhuhu.
Sometime aside a book, drama also give us a good lesson to upgrade the quality of being humane. I am so touched how this scene will influence me, as before I am the one who selfish didn't care about the other fear as I am the one who are brave, & i force them to get through it without comfort them & protect them even they truly afraid. "It's okay with your fear. We are good, I will be here." Should be practice right now.

Writers take notes. We also love strong female leads who care, protect and recognize things and then take action. That is seriously one of the best and most beautifully and romantically written Kdrama episodes ever. GOLD!

The conversation and hug on episode 11 when it started to rain again and hari went back to the hospital gave me million of tears. I felt every emotion. The happiness, the sadness, the comfort, the assurance. Oh my. How could they?!!! I so love them.
The writers have done an amazing job with the body language of the characters. The fact that Tae moo is always gentle with Shin hari makes me want to melt into a puddle of joy. Every single kiss they have is gentle and loving, not like other dramas where the characters only have lust for each other. While Shin hari hugged Tae moo to comfort him, he didnt kiss her to show that he didnt want to talk about it any further, instead he showed his vulnerability. This cliched yet unique drama has made my eyes well up with emotion more than three times. I wish I could go back in time and rewatch it all over again. Ps. I hope I'm not the only one who watches every single interview and off-cam moments once Im done watching a memorable kdrama... ;)
Her finding out more about him is tugging on my heart strings you can see her fall more deeply in love with him as she finds out more about him. Her lil “let’s go” into a growl type thing is super cute.
Bruh, can't get over this series. Binged it twice and post that watching clips again and again. Love maybe, sheesh, don't understand korean but feels. Kim has done a great job, what charisma, the personality she has.
One thing I love about this drama is how straightforward they are! Also whenever the other lead helps the other one with their trauma we get on multiple episodes just to get the pay off but on this one they give it to you right away! Also Hari is such a nice person. This couple has grown so much together. When Hyo-seop use to be not close to Sejeong in the beginning of the drama to how they have naturally become close. It’s weird right? All the behind the scenes and interviews i have watched from the beginning to now. You feel like you see two actors really falling in love. I hope they will always be close even if they aren’t a real couple. Sejeong is so beautiful inside & out she actually made Hyo-seop less of an introvert. Like he said “she’s the best partner”!!!💕💕💜❤️
Even in the coldest and eerie nights, a hug and a pat in the back is all we need to feel warmth and comfort~🥺 For me this is one of the warmest scenes in the whole drama☺️ I love how Hari is changing their plans abruptly, changing her seat besides Taemoo, etc in order to protect Taemoo from the rain. This also made me cry when we saw Taemoo’s perspective😭

I totally love how they didn't use his trauma as just a plot device and for sympathy but treated it as an actually painful memory he could temporarily forget when he's with her. I love how she let him talk about his happy memories with his parents (hotdog) but didn't force him to talk on the accident/trauma cuz she knows he isn't ready yet. And i love how he was observant and was able to read through her. I love HaTae couple, they're everything
The chemistry they have is NO JOKE. They talk with their eyes and the body language explains how much trust they have on each other. This episode really showed that How Much Hari cares for Tae-moo she in her own way tried to protect him without hurting his feelings even when Taemoo found out that she knows about his Trauma she apologized her if when it wasn't her fault. She's so considerate of his emotions. This is the example of TRUE LOVE 🥺

i love how she doesnt want him to force himself to open up about his trauma. this drama may seem like a typical rom-com but to me it includes emotional healing and stuff that people actually experience in real life. its sad that not much people pay attention to these things
Not to be dramatic, but I noticed that too. I tried recommending healing type of dramas to some people and they shut me down. Kinda understandable if they just prefer comedy or romcoms, but it is still sad to think that they are not even interested to try.

This scene made me think that maybe, just maybe, there really is someone out there meant for you. You may think you arent worthy to love with all your excess baggages and issues (e.g. his trauma and her lack of confidence to be with him) but that person meant for you, will still love you despite all your imperfections.

She’s the sweetest & most thoughtful girlfriend. Taemoo’s kiss here is the most precious out of their kisses so far, showed how he’s comforted by her presence. His rainy days are finally brighter with Hari. They’re a perfect match. Just as Kang Taemoo setting the standards high, Shin Hari raised the bar too high as well!!

We can see at first taemu is kind of doubt and braving himself ask hari about the nearby restaurant bcs he dont want to show his weakness and want to make hari happy, but then hari tell him to go to another place instead and be with him until rain stop. The way Hari tapped Taemu's back while hugging him, giving a message of whatever battles each of them have,together they will always comfort and trust each other.
This scene feels entirely different and you can really feel the love and gratefulness of them toward each other. Not only Taemu receiving warmth and healing in this scene but also the viewers. As a viewer, I really felt the warmth and comfort that Hari gives to Taemu. The changing of plans knowing that Taemu is traumatize to the rain, and the hug she gives to Taemu. Also, during the kiss scene in the restaurant that Taemu gives to Hari, I think it is one of the sweetest kiss I've ever witnessed in this drama. It shows Taemu's love and gratefulness towards Hari by not asking about his weakness and for being considerate.
The episode is truly legendary. In the end, it is not a matter of measuring which couple is more "burning", simply how they fell in love. Sung Hoon and Young Seo came together with a fierce and enthusiastic youth, they knew each other was their destiny at first sight, but later realized that going together is a long road. You need to open your heart and share. Tae Moo and Hari are different, they gradually realize how big their feelings for the other are, then gently love to silently protect each other. This is probably a scene I will watch again and again in the future, but Hari's quiet protection as well as Tae Moo's subtlety when realizing how it touched my heart will still be the same. today
This is one of the most heartwarming sequences in any kdrama. It may seem like simple things but the way Hari really went out of her way to make sure she protects Taemoo. This is even more heartwarming because the last few episodes we see Taemoo as the one who was always taking care and doing things for Hari, which is pretty basic "couple" things. But then we see Hari do this, and it is a lot more heartwarming because we know it's from a painful past. You can see the exact moment Taemoo fell in love with her more, and that makes this little peck a million times sweeter than any other kiss. Ahhh my love for HaTae. I just hope they don't actually make a Taemoo's grandpa and Hari's parents oppose their relationship. That was one things I really liked about the webtoon, having no cliche parental opposition. 🥺

Much as I enjoy K dramas what spoils them are the compulsory break ups that loom over the series. I find that I am waiting the break up to happen. I think that's why I enjoyed "Romance is a Bonus Book" so much was that they were friends from beginning to end and faced the difficulties together, rather than the cliche poor girl running away to save the rich boy from trouble. Similar plot, she even worked nutrition, "My Secret Romance".

of all the dramas of Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyoseop that I watched before, this drama is definitely their best work, they convey the emotions of the characters they played effortlessly and very natural. I guess this is what made us rooting and keep following the series. the story is pretty common but the way every cast in the drama portray their characters, the way the scenes are written and how the director execute them, made the drama - in my opinion - very much enjoyable. I already feel some kind of withdrawal effect, realizing that the drama will end next week... (and somehow my Monday might be back to being dull again)

One of the things you get from watching kdramas on a whole is complexity and subtlety. Two things lacking in most Hollywood produced material. Kdrama writers are operating at a whole different level. She finds out about his parents dying in a car crash on a rainy day. Then she understands his freak out while he was driving in the rain. She understands him so much better. Then she does all these things on their date to avoid the rain and protect him. Then he understands what she is doing for him. It's not directly spoken but you get all of this from the scenes. From the words used and actions taken. This is something that isn't done in Hollywood where everything is made obvious. Making it all obvious though dumbs down the viewers. Not doing that makes viewers smarter and more aware. That is why I prefer watching kdramas now to Hollywood.
So trueee. That is why many people are into kdramas right now. Producing dramas on netflix really helped a lot to cater more audiences internationally and see the beauty in korean dramas all over the world. 🥰

the healthiest drama couple in a long while, i feel. hari is understanding, protective, and gentle with him, never pushing him to reveal everything, and so accepting of who he is. other significant others i've seen in dramas try to "fix" their partners, but hari....acknowledges that sometimes, it doesn't just goes away, and it will be with him for life, maybe, in some capacity. so she holds his hand instead, takes him to flower shops, and waits until the rain stops with him. and maybe that's what taemu needed - not someone to make the trauma magically go away, but someone to stay with him until the rain would cease. and taemu is such a wonderful partner himself, appreciating and acknowledging her efforts, and trying his best to meet her somewhere in the middle. i love them dearly huhuhu.

The writers have done an amazing job with the body language of the characters. The fact that Tae moo is always gentle with Shin hari makes me want to melt into a puddle of joy. Every single kiss they have is gentle and loving, not like other dramas where the characters only have lust for each other. While Shin hari hugged Tae moo to comfort him, he didnt kiss her to show that he didnt want to talk about it any further, instead he showed his vulnerability. This cliched yet unique drama has made my eyes well up with emotion more than three times. I wish I could go back in time and rewatch it all over again.

I have been watching this drama and it’s fantastic. I like the way he treats her and I like the way she overheard what was said about her boyfriend.
