Love the chicken x
Thank you.
Love the waffle knit hat😃… and yes I’ve just finished my emotional support chicken 🐓 😄
I just found your you tube channel- I am a beginning knitter and I am making the emotional support chicken as my first project! I love it and I saw your little scarf on your chicken and I know you said it was simple to make but I did not understand your instructions on how to make it-but it is adorable. Maybe you could make a pattern I could buy from you so my little emotional hen will not get cold. lol. It does not have to be a fancy pattern-just clear instructions. Also a tutorial to show how to make it would be great too. I just started following you on Facebook too. Great channel!
Hi Martha, I have written a pattern and will be sharing it on today's podcast. Watch for it! Ginger
The little shawl on the ESC is ADORABLE!!!
Thank you.
Just found you & now I’m a subscriber. What a delightful episode. I will be using your word moving forward for my yarn “collection “ …. Love it!! 🇨🇦 Wish I lived closer to see all your beautiful samples in shop.
Thank you so much, Kelly!
My Rikka Waffle Mitts have become my go to favorite hand warmers this winter. A pleasure to knit and wear.
Mine as well!
I stuffed my chicken with wool too and a little lavender. One of our local stores had a flock in their window for our yarn hop, I have a clip of it in my yarn hop video.
Thank you, Tina. I just subscribed. Excited to have a new podcast to watch.
@@insheepsclothingyarnshop aww.. thank you
Love the scarf she is wearing, esp the yarn colors.I would love a sweater and a cap in it.
I like the look of your Emotional Support Chicken's head and beak better than the pictures in Ravelry where the pattern is sold, did you make any changes? Also, could you please offer for sale a pattern for the kerchief for the chicken???🤗
Hi Paula, I didn't make any changes, except that I was doubling 2 yarns, and switched to to a different yarn for the beak. Maybe my gauge was a little snugger for the head? I was doubling 2 fingering/sport throughout the chicken.
Here's the link to the kerchief. Enjoy! in-sheeps-clothing.com/product/pennys-shawl/
Hello! I enjoyed your video and love your emotional support chicken. I have the pattern and hope to make one soon.
Hi Darcy! Thank you so much for watching. The chicken is so much fun to knit, you will love it!
Your video popped up in my recommended today - very enjoyable! I've made 13 of those cute chickens - actually have the original pattern by Bev Galeskas. I love, love love your cowl! Will be making that soon. I see that there are over 700 projects already - so maybe another popular pattern like the chickens.
13! Wow. Yes, I remember the original chicken! The cowl was fun to make. I want to make her hat next. Thank you for watching. Check out these free shawls for your chickens: in-sheeps-clothing.com/product/pennys-shawl/
Hi Ginger, glad I found your oodcast! The cowl you are wearing is beautiful! I like Knitting wirh Noro too! Happy Knitting!

I have made one chicken for my daughter, but my brother has just bad news so I think I’m going to make him a chicken. Hopefully it will help him. It’s nice to see everybody chicken.
I am so sorry about your brother. I hope your chicken gives him the love and support you will be sending him.Ginger
I'm learning to knit after 50 years of crocheting. It's very slow going for me. You create beautiful items. I enjoyed seeing and hearing about the beautiful yarns that you used.
Thank you so much, Dorcas!
I love your chicken. The shawl is the perfect addition for her.
Thank you, Barbara!
So happy your video showed up on my utube feed this morning! I think we’re sisters. 😉😊 I was into the felting projects, too. I have a book of those patterns with the curved vase shapes, etc.
The waffle weave is beautiful, but where can I find that pattern? Looking forward to watching more of your videos. ✅🤓🪺🪴

Your chicken is adorable with the Henry Penny shawl. You’ve inspired me to make a waffle stitch blanket for a baby on the way. It’s very kind of you to knit one for someone else.
Thank you. I'm so happy that I could inspire you! 🥰
I just found your channel and I love the yarn, scarf, and chickhen! So glad I found you.
Thank you, Nancy! 🥰
So glad I found you Ginger! I am originally from Torrington and when I’m in town I try to stop into your shop. Your chicken is ADORABLE and the colors in the cowl are beautiful!! Thanks for doing this!!!
Thank you, Linda! I look forward to your visit.
I subscribed right away! I love watching you!
Just found you in my feed this morning. Love the colorful scarf. I’m using Noro Kaklgori (50% cotton, 30% silk, 10% viscose, 10% polyamide) for the Rebecca McKenzie’s Stepping Stones Cardigan and am enjoying the feel of the yarn as well. I’m a non-wool person.
Kakigori is a great choice for Stepping Stones. It certainly is a lovely sweater. It is now in my favorites for future consideration! Thank you. Ginger
I was attracted to your podcast because I just started my own
Emotional Support Chicken. Delightful to see yours. Also plan on doing the Travelers Cowl. Yours is truly beautiful. I love that you stuffed the chicken with wool. We both have the same thoughts about wool. So glad to have found you. I sure wish your shop was my LYS. I am across the country from you. Nice to meet to you.
Hi Kate, Thank you so much! I hope you share your chicken when you are done. The Traveler Cowl was very enjoyable to knit. I look forward to spending time with you! Thank you for watching! Ginger 🥰
Henny Penny is adorable! Kathleen from Wisconsin
Thank you! I hope you give her a try.
I love Penny's little shawl! It's adorable! I so want to make one, but I'm trying to stick to Frog it or Finish it February and not cast on another project. So, maybe mine will be a Spring Emotional Support Chicken. 😀
You don't have too much more time, so good idea to stick to your F&F FEB. Your spring chick will give you something to look forward to!🙂
Great video 🥰I’m new to your channel. I found it through a search of support chicken. You did a wonderful job on it and I liked how you explained the journey on how you made it. The sample yarns for the season are nice. The waffle stitch is also very beautiful and I see why it’s your favorite and go to stitch pattern. I look forward to seeing you more in the future. Have a great week.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I look forward to your You tube journey with me. Take care, Ginger

I am new to your channel. I had no idea there was a yarn shop in Torrington. What are your hours and where are you located?
I have already made 5 Emotional Support Chickens for my friends who have chickens. Everyone of them were delighted to get them. I plan on making them for my great granddaughters too. ❤
FYI: I tried your link for your website but it does not work.

Hi Jennifer. Thank you! The color is #11 in Tasogare. The scarf is Zick Zack, www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/zickzack-scarf knit in Giardino.I discuss the scarf in Episode #4 which went up today. I have a link here to my website: in-sheeps-clothing.com/product/barbaras-giardino-zick-zack/. Ginger

New sub here! Very nice pieces hanging behind and around you. You mind sharing info on the yarn and patterns? Exciting!
Yes of course! Let me know what you want to know!
Thank you for responding. My focus is all the items in your background to your videos. So many it’s hard to pinpoint just one. In this video, the hats.
The two on my right are both my designs. in-sheeps-clothing.com/product/silky-heart-hat/ and in-sheeps-clothing.com/product/field-of-hearts-hat/ .Fun and easy to knit.@@sagaciouslysage9454
Thank you!
You are so delightful ❤
Marsha, You are so sweet!🥰 Thank you for watching. Ginger
Hi like your videos, can you ask how much do you charge for knitting the blanket for a baby
It depends on the pattern. I rarely knit for sale. It has to be quick and easy and only in special circumstances.
My mother calls her “stash” her Resource Center. I think it fits.
Oh, that is beautiful! Thank you for sharing that. Love it!
