Founded by Adrian Spence in 1990, the group is composed of the finest performers of chamber music from around the world. The ensemble is distinctive for artistic excellence, an innovative approach to classical music and a repertoire that ranges from baroque to brand new, from familiar masterworks to works that have yet to become favorites.

This is a beautiful reading of a very delightful piece. I’ve been hearing the bassoon part recently because my husband will be recording this. I love the blend your ensemble gets. This is so charming.

Just incredibly beautiful. Gounod was a genius and a grossly underrated composer, and composed just as fluently for chamber groups and orchestras as he did for opera. This work, and his two wonderful symphonies, display the clarity and classical elegance of Mozart, infused with warm Romantic ardour.
