This is one of the best discussions of the realities of sadhana I've ever heard. Every single person who aspires to get serious about their spiritual search should hear this. This is so valuable it should be transcribed and published verbatim. Thank you so much, David!

Amazing how the mind trash comes out the more I practice meditation and Self Inquiry. A lot of quieting to do. David recognizing this effect exists has helped me. Thank you so very much Mr. Godman 🙏
Thanks sir for giving us guidance in our spiritual pursuit. Got stuck and was wondering what was wrong and here you are , giving us the guidance to the TRUTH. Thank you 🙏
Ramana speaks through David. Thank you so much for sharing... you re the perfect man for this mission. So blessed to have encountered this channel. Wow.. how many people have this grace out of BILLIONS? Thanks again!
How eloquent but simple and reassuring. I want to ask David, why didn't I find you years ago, I have known about and revered Ramana Maharishi most of my life. I answer it myself - I have found you now, it is the right time, my time! Thank you for your guidance and the inspirational work you do disseminating Bagwan's teaching.
Thanks David... I find a lot of support and inspiration in your videos, also when my self inquiry process seems to have hit a rough spot on the road. 🙏🏻
Davidji, thank you so much for explaining that this is not a linear process and there is no "right" method when you self inquire - you have really opened my eyes on a lot of things, especially when one feels they are trying the best that they can and feel stuck in the same place. The best we can do is move forward! Much gratitude to you sir!
Glad to see you talking after a long gap sir. God bless you with good health so that you continue to guide people like us on the path of self enlightenment. Sounds selfish but we want it
Self enquiry is very powerful tool that I have came across. David has explained it so wonderfully in his videos that if anyone is serious to do it , one can learn and do it perfectly. It is a direct attack to your 'I' which is the hurdle in getting nearer to Self. Only thing is a person should be extremely vigilent while doing self enquiry , else he is carried away by thoughts very easily.
We are watching this video because of bhagavan's grace . Knowingly or unknowingly that grace is controlling our daily activity . how can it be going wrong ? Thanks so much Davidji. your words are impregnated with Bhagavaan's silence. Please upload more videos
Thank you. I enjoy listening to your talks, they convey the silence needed to quiet the mind, at least for a bit, and help us continue with the practice.

If we ask a question, who is aware of the thought or feelings or sensations?we have a reply " I".. we generally identify the "i" with body/mind.. I am tall, short, angry, happy etc. So if we shift the focus from thoughts/feelings to who is aware , that "I" is the knowingness within us, I know I exist. I know I am aware, self evident knowing ..that's the inward "I" deeper essence that exists always, aware of changing of body/thoughts/emotions. Sometimes I try it this way. Helps to shift from what the body/mind identified "i" to deeper Awareness. Not sure if this is right or wrong
There are clear signs along the path that signify it's working long before final realization. Probably somewhat spoiled westerners consider the specific difficulties arising as _"not working"_ when traditionally these difficulties are actually signs that _"it is"_ working ! For westerners I would, as an introduction and enhancement of Ramana's vichara recommend Douglas Harding's headless way ( _"On Having No Head"_ ) together with particularly Culadasa's systematic teaching on Vipassana ( _"The Illuminated Mind"_ ).
