What I love most in this presentation is that of number 1 point, I think Be YOURSELF is the best of killer opener for kicking out the phobia to present. Isn't it?
Point 4 is great. I've seen even professional presenters say 'hello everyone': so sophomoric and insulting to the viewer. A professional introduces the show, introduces the topic, introduces them self, then gets into it. Tip for interviews: on a fast paced program, such as news, have the producer prep the interviewer: "the presenter will introduce you, thank you for your time, then ask the first question. Do not say 'thank you' or other conversational pleasantries. Try not to open with the word 'well' ". For longer form shows, the producer should prep the interviewee similarly, telling them that a quick 'it's great to be here' is fine. because you are most likely to be a 'personality' yourself. However, the interviewer should introduce you and lead to a response by you, otherwise the interview can easily go haywire....heck, it can easily go haywire anyway. I had one interviewee who I'd chatted to before the recording for some time...during the interview, after a few questions, she started one answer blurting out 'as you know, Dagwould...' No, No, No. think of the viewer! The interview is about the viewer finding out, not the interviewer.
I used to want to be a TV presenter from early childhood years till I was like 17. Afterwards I started being very anxious about so many things now I don't know that even at the age of 21 I can still get my confidence back ? Can I still pursue being a TV presenter?
Yes you CAN! Im 21! And i get really anxious too. Tv presenting has been my dream for the longest time and i could never give up on it. For me i try to practice in the mirror, write some links and master them. I dont have my full confidence but i'm working towards it so yes, you can still be a presenter
@@beinggracenamakau4344 thank you so much. I guess I can also start working on getting my confidence back and also get tutorials on being a good presenter and stuff.
