I just received my PF Flavorist today in blue and so far I'm enjoying it. The blade came in sharp and centered, and the blue micarta is very nice. This is only my 3rd front flipper knife (my others being the larger PF Beluga and a Kizer Chili Pepper) but it has by far the better flipper design of those three. My only complaint is that I wish the scales had a full liner, even a thin one, just to give the knife a more solid and balanced feel when deployed.
Thanks for sharing. My best guess would be that they did try to keep the weight down as much as possible not a lot of companies do this kind of liner configuration.
That is a very nice looking knife, I have the CRKT M21-02G, which is about the same size and with a Spear Point blade, but weighs about 105 grams, I am seriously considering this one, similar size, but about 94 grams. Blue Micarta model is very nice.
Really nice review, i like the dimensions but as you mentioned the front opening it is an issue, overall good though [ and stop buying other colors than brown lol ] thanks man keep up😊😊
Any rhyme or reason to name this knife "Flavorist"? (A flavorist, also known as flavor chemist, is someone who uses chemistry to engineer artificial and natural flavors.)
Maybe they run out of names in China QSP is using animals WE, CIVIVI, and Sencut abstract thinks and mythological creatures so Petrified Fis stuck with vocations like a warrior, Viking Flavorist, and sometimes a fish or something else yes, and forgot Shielden they use pokemon names...
Very good looking knife, really like the blade profile. Thanks for the look!
Veľmi pekný nôž 👍
Mine is Blue! I love it. Great smaller knife! Thanks for sharing!
I do like the brown. Wish they released this in a black blade.
Yes, it would look great with a black acid-stonewashed finish.
