Fantastic as always! :D I currently have gouldian chicks and plum headed finches on chicks. And recently one of my two king quail females seem to have gone broody and is laying on 10 eggs. Hoping to see more of your birds soon and that the breeding season will yield you a lot of healthy chicks :)

Unfortunately, I have never used dried worms as they are not good in nutrition. I always use fresh or frozen insects.
Some dried insects is part of the uni-food mix i provide but it is made from factory.

I have a couple questions about society finches please.
I bought(rescued) a male and female society finches.They were in rough shape.She had laid 3 eggs and the "store" boxed them up and boxed up the 2 birds sepately.They do not have tails.Will their tails grow back? The other question is ,can make birds be " fixed" not to have babies before they are sold to the pet store? He's been mating her.The store says the males are supposed to be fixed when they buy them.She broke the 3 eggs also in their new home. Thank you.

The tales will grow out again - hopefully quite soon when they are with you in a better place with better food and space.
It is very rate that you can move eggs and that the birds will keep caring for them. So it is normal, that they broke. Give them a good bamboo nest or nest box and some straw to build, and then they will soon have eggs again.
I have never heard about “fixed” birds. Hopefully, this is not true 😉🤞 But,nevertheless, I think they will keep mating and laying eggs - so only the eggs would be infertile. Only time will tell you.

Many are moved indoor and some stay outdoor all year. Then I set up infrared heating lamps 😉👍

I’m kind of mad that I don’t have a bird aviary.
I had avairy like that but I had mice I was told to put a cat in put i think cat upset the mice and pulled there home out that the mice killed my birds and the next day was a hole in fence were the cat got scared and broke out. Them mice r a nuisance it was my first year and I never got them back again

Yes 😉 I tried it before in another aviary, and the problem is that they will eat all food I provide on ground as well as eat all green on the ground. So even though they are beautiful it would not be good for the other birds.
@@TropicalAviaryBirds I thought as much, bit of a shame, but we cant have everything our way lol....thanks for info mate...BTW the wind blew my cage door open and my red face parrot finch got out, he hung around in the trees till I held the cage door open and the fat little bugger flew strait back in...was stoked to say the least
