Wish me luck, I am in the desert of the southwest of the U.S. I have read that this plant is strong enough for my environs. If anyone knows the best variety for a hot, dry, windy, and unforgiving place, please, offer advice. Hopi Red Dye amaranth has been successful, and globe amaranth, so long as they only receive half of the day's sun (as our temperatures just do not allow for an all-day sun pass! lol I have had to amend every normal plant tutelage for these extreme weather conditions).
