45 years later and I am now finding out this was a land speeder, I always thought it was an old escape pod similar to the one the droids used at the start of the film and was simply just part of the junk laying about Mos Eisley.
I absolutely love this, as a 51-year-old vintage Star Wars fan It brings me back to my childhood during the first waves of Kenner figures and Vehicles. Stan Solo does what Fans strike Back Don't!
That’s just cool. It was one of those small things I never figured out why Kenner didn’t produce. At least it appeared in the film unlike the mini rigs.
A beautiful mini-rig by Stan Solo. Great to see you picked one up, too. That double hatch reminds me a bit of the double hatch on the AT-ST. Brilliant design choice.
What a fabulous piece of development work, and so simply designed. Hats off to this guy. Reminds me a bit of the old Polly Pocket play casesfrom my hayday.
Man that's really cool. I never cared much for the force and Jedi. What I always liked were the space battles and all the various ships and vehicles. In the original trilogy they just looked they were real things that had real history. I used to play the Decipher Star Wars CCG when it was around and I loved all the obscure machines that showed up on the cards and this speeder was one of those.
When I was a kid I actually thought it was a droid, probably because it wasn't moving around in the movie. Now I can only describe as cute, I mean, look at it! It's a bubble car!
Chris Smith's work is mindblowing. It's like he plucked these from a parallel universe where Kenner had made them. Utterly seamless with the classic toys.
Wow, amazing work... again! Mind blowing the level of attention given to quality and level of detail. Also the sensitivity to the nostalgia factor and the translation to the actual product is amazing. Like you, and many others, said Tony: exactly like kenner would have made. Thanx for this nice and detailed review! A fan of your channel, and Stan Solo 🤟
I like mine a lot, but unfortunately the tiny antenna on top broke off when I was putting the landspeeder back in the box. I was able to glue it back on, so crisis averted, but I was disappointed it broke that easily. Please be extra careful when putting it away...or better yet, never put it away.
It’s a shame Kenner didn’t start building mini rigs till the empire strikes back came out I suspect this would have been one Stan solo fills the gaps Kenner and hasbro don’t fill
This is great. 🤩While I'm not a vintage collector at all, I could see Child Me loving this. When it comes to toy vehicles, I've always preferred weird little things like this to big ships; Just a little personal transport - essentially the Star Wars equivalent to a bubble car. 5 star effort for a cracking toy.
Looks great! I didn't even know that thing in the movie was a landspeeder. (Maybe it belonged to the guy in the spacesuit in the cantina? Maybe he's David Bowman?)
I try to imagine this being driven in the desert and I imagine it being like the Q wing from SW Robot Chicken. But I'm a sucker for 1970s/80s sci-fi designs!
I just started in the hobby of collecting Star wars figures I haven't even started on my favorite star wars collectibles which is the vehicles like my favorites ATAT and the AT-ST.im just beginning Im way late but I will get some of the more modern figures.
Tony, you and Retro Blasting have both done videos talking about Stan Solo stuff which is great. i was just kind of curious if you have an opinion of those Black Major G.I.Joe figures?
Where do we find this? I need it badly for my Greedo! Love Lego did it and now a customizer does it! Greedo deserves more respect than he is given! BTW…he sent a clone to Han! So G-Man is still alive!!
Out of curiosity what's everyone's favourite vehicle from star wars? For me I have to go with the x wings. Vanilla I know, but they're the f-14 tomcat of the star wars universe to me. #top_blaster

@@derekmcmanus8615 awesome, I love hearing this
Absolutely amazing. I remember to this day the smell of the vinyl capes on the darth Vader that I had.
Loved the "New figure smell" too
It had always reminded me of a seaside resort ride when I first noticed it.
It's a cool looking speeder that's for sure.

Stans are doing the best work!
Excellent work by both Stan Solo and Tony Roberts, teaming up to produce a great review video for the Ubrikkian 9000 Land-Speeder.

I'd be tempted to leave it out in the sun for a couple days to get an authentic vintage-looking patina. Just a dash of yellowing would do
I’ve always thought of that as Greedo’s speeder, as well. I think there was a LEGO set that had him as the driver of that speeder…
Great review. Gotta get me one!

Wonderfully done and very comprehensive. Stan Solo is doing the best work for Star Wars in 2023
This is amazing I never knew about stan solo. I’m in all in
Great video Tony, awesome toy!!!

I read about this thing in the classic RPG module "Tatooine Manhunt" but had no idea what it was!
Thanks for the vid! :D
He just keeps knocking it out of the park! Thanks for showcasing it Tony!
Very nice, and a interesting comparison to the Hole In The Ground' offering
Great review! I purchased one to go with my modern Vintage Collection line. Fits right in :)
Another awesome review! Your RUclips channel is fast becoming my number one favourite. I can't wait to see what you review next!
I remember that thing in the movie. I had no idea it was a speeder.
Great looking vehicle and figure. Excellent review, Tony 🏆
Reminds me of the spaceship from the film Explorers.
Stan Solo nails the Kenner Star Wars look perfectly. Very well done. 👍
That vehicle toy brings me joy.
Great design. I can't wait to see what vehicles Stan comes out with next.
Thanks so much for this. Superb vid - didn't know about Stan Solo before. Great work on both your counts!
Great vid Tony. I've not picked one of these up yet but hope to when SS re-stocks. Awesome work as always from CS and nice review from you Tony.
I need to start investing in some of these 🙂
That's Cool, Nice one I will look out for Stan solo, I haven't seen his work before. 👍
Link is in the video description
@@AnalogToys Thanks. 👍

Thank You very much Tony, glad I could add this to your ever growing vintage collection mate , looks great on display.
Stan Solo 👊🏽💥
You're doing amazing work boss - hx
@@Bather12 Thank you very much
when i was a kid i always thought the Imperial Spy looked awesome. Stan Solo did a fantastic job making him into a figure!

Always thought that was a giant droid.
This thing screams 70's!!! I wonder if the original prop was metalflake too!!!!
This thing was surprisingly effective early on in the Star Wars CCG
Great review!
Agree. Agree. Agree. Amazing. x
Everytime I see Stan Solo's work I wouldn't be lying if i was slightly tempted to start collecting Star Wars....but only slightly
Certainly makes me want to start collecting vintage stuff... the price point always puts me off though.
I love the box! It just pops!
The 2001 inspiration makes me want one of these just so I can stick BoShek in it.
I try to imagine this being driven in the desert and I imagine it being like the Q wing from SW Robot Chicken. But I'm a sucker for 1970s/80s sci-fi designs!
9,000 Chef's kiss for this
Another top class video tony
Another great Vid. Cheers from a fellow Brit. I’ve managed to collect all the Last 17 figures now. Only need R2 and a few accessories 😊
Excellent review and vehicle 👍
This is AWESOME!

I have a few. They're... OK
@@AnalogToys thank you for the reply. i feel the same. i also have 2 or 3.
EFF---YOU---SEE---KAY ! ! ! !
It's already sold out here, on the British 'Stan Solo Creations' online shop!!! 😞 😞 😞
Amazing work. Lars Family Landspeeder coming soon...?
Still need to order one from Chris looks brilliant just like normal top work from Chris. Brilliant reviews tony
I’m also 51 and a huge collector and the only downside to this was the exchange rate from USA to Canadian. Ouch!
Where do we find this? I need it badly for my Greedo! Love Lego did it and now a customizer does it! Greedo deserves more respect than he is given! BTW…he sent a clone to Han! So G-Man is still alive!!
Rumor has it that Garindan was played by John Wayne!
Not played by. It's supposed to be his voice, just sped up.
Nice landspeeder I've seen on GQ jedi review . On stan solo site for £120
B e a u t i f u l
Love this one, he does a great job! Are his vehicles all 3D printed? Thanks for the video sir! Always appreciated.🙏
No they are factory made top quality
@Analog Toys I figured, the detail is amazing on them! Thanks for the reply!
Fantastic review, and this looks awesome!!! I’m only sorry I can’t afford $120 for it, *and* it’s sold out. 😔
Hasbro have given a MASK figures creator a cease production notice. How long before they serve this on Stan Solo?
even star wars has a Prius.
has c3po always a silver leg?

A lot of 2001 nods in just the name. The 9000 comes from Hal 9000

Vanilla I know, but they're the f-14 tomcat of the star wars universe to me.
#top_blaster
I would have to say the AT-AT, followed by the Imperial Star Destroyer.
han shot second in your clip tho...
And?
We all know who shot first.
psh, not even over 9000
I always wanted that figure when I was a little kid😂
In the 80,s
