Fab as ever, first concert I ever went to in 82 and most recently was lucky enough to get to see them at the intimate Birmingham shows..it went off! Future Past is a fantastic album, creative, retrospective and forward thinking. We'll done chaps, can't wait see you again soon
I have been to countless concerts in my life, including now close to 70 different acts that are in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame, but seeing Duran Duran back in their heyday in the mid 80s still the loudest screaming I have ever heard at a concert. I remember thinking at the time that this is what a Beatles concert must’ve sounded like.
@@shawnstarks1743 err, he’s a pretty high voiced tenor, and sings plenty of high notes. Cases in point - View to a Kill, Wild Boys, Ordinary World. Amongst many others
I saw them live years ago and they were good live and Simon is a pro at controlling a crowd. He got them to clap and sing along during certain parts of the show. He had the women in the audience in the palm of his hand. I watched in amazement. So they put on a good show! 👏🏻🎸😎
This is great. I've never heard guys singing along to Duran Duran before. I love it. So jealous of everyone who saw this. Sitting over here in Australia waiting for tours to start again ☹️
Wow. LeBon's voice is still phenomenal. Many other singers from early to mid-80's are done! Burnt out voices, lowered keys for songs. Super impressive. (Probably wise to do View To A Kill early in the set!!!)
DD have been part of my life since I was 11 years old and they've relied on the likes of children-grown-to-adults like me to support them throughout…But their obsession with playing 'Come Undone' and various other, staid, safe, staples has always baffled me,…They've recorded at least a baker's dozen better songs. Dig in to the repertoire DD and go leftfield (And I don't mean 'White Lines.')…Your fans would go crazy for all the songs you HAVEN'T played live, recently, never or otherwise.

Loved this band for 40 years now....may they go on forever.
They'll probably die off one by one... eventually.
Followed Duran Duran since 1982 seen them most recently at Scarborough open arena and are still sounding absolutely amazing 💙💙💙💙
So true. This was my first in person concert. Amazing sound.

These 'Wild Boys" definitely know how to do a show! LONG LIVE DURAN DURAN❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!!!!
His voice still sounds sounds great
*JOHN TAYLOR* ABSOLUTELY *DESTROYING* THAT *BASS!!*
Simon has retained the ability to sound just as he did in 81/82--and that is rare!
True, but he doesn't push his voice that much. He knows he has limited range. He stays within his ability.

What an amazing Show!!! Duran Duran are still the best. The new Album is awesome. Kisses to these fantastic Boys.

Still on Top of their game! After 35 years now? Amazing Duran Duran.

One & Only Duran Duran!
Thanks so much - Duran Duran have loosened up somewhat since the 1980's and are much better for it!

Eu amo Duran Duran
What a shame they practically don't have a guitarist now, Andy made Hungry Like the Wolf so special
I miss Andy...
Andaaaaay! Me, too.
Love it!
THANKS FOR POST
You are so welcome!
This is not their Austin City Limits show (from PBS). It is The Austin City Limits Music Festival.
Where are the new songs (they are amazing) Hammerhead, Anniversary...
Freaking insane
I think I can hear myself screaming 😂 . Anyone have the playlist for this performance?
The set list is in the video description. Thanks for watching.
Simon Le Bon is 60 years old !!
Not their best, but still good. Simon was having an off night, looked like technical issues too.
sugar daddies on stage 😘😘😘 nick rhodes eyeliner still there

Understood. People loved it though
I was 10 back in 1981 when I heard Planet Earth! I was hooked since.
Not a single new song!?
Well, they are proving the theory you can stay looking young if you don't get fat. They all look at trim as they did way back when.
Andy

Same set list 16 years omg((( no electric barbarella. No out of my mind. No someone else not me. No falling down. WTF(((((
Duran playing to an audience of cell phones, lol.
Annoying! Is there a better recording of this??
Simons sounding a bit croaky
I am sorry but it is long overdue for them to get a new guitarist. Whether that person is Andy, Graham, etc., Dom is just awful and has to go.
I can't hear the band... All I hear is an out of tune group of people...
They should be in the rnrhof.
They will be this year.
