- The White House attacked Comey for discussing his reasoning behind many controversial decisions as FBI director in an exclusive interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos.
All this time I never knew we had such a capable, stand up guy as our FBI director. Trump did the US a great disservice by firing him, and over personal reasons at that.

A stand up guy does not disclose to the American people conclusions of an investigation when the investigation is still in process. This guy is a joke, an absolute embarrassment to the brave men and women in the FBI who despise this piece of shit. Him, Strzok, and McCabe should be prosecuted for their part in this national disgrace. These three assholes politicized the crown jewel of law enforcement globally.. You go to any place in this world and ask who the premier law enforcement agency is.. it was the FBI, these three ruined the reputation but will get it back soon

I like Comey, but he really shouldn't have released the information on Clinton on 10/28 without going through the correct channels. It felt vindictive on his part.

One can't be influenced by propaganda if one tries to view everything objectively and without bias.
I can relate to him about trying to explain the utter absurdity of his experience with a bully. I also think it's messed up to fire people and ruin their careers over petty personal issues.
Trump is not Comey's boss. He is not McCabe's boss. He is not Wray's boss. He is not Mueller's boss.
He has tried to fire or successfully fired them ALL for attempting to be unbiased and fair and not "playing ball" on his terms.
This is not The Apprentice.
These men have wives, kids and family and Trump has no regard for any of that. Trump added insult to injury, Comey being fired and attacked as maliciously as he was? He has a right to write that book.
The day Trump fired him was the day he gave Comey a new job as an author and gave him a chance to fight back against injustice in a way he couldn't as an FBI director.
Unfortunately, when one treats people badly and attacks them (regardless of their political leanings) one can't exactly expect them to not object to the abuse.
This is his objection, his voice. I can not wait to read what McCabe has to say, because I will buy that book, too.
If one feels threatened by one political party and their potential propaganda, I question their ability to critically think. One should be able to take information and be tolerant regardless if they disagree.
I applaud anyone who stands up to a bully. That's what he's doing by releasing this book. Trump's actions led us all to this point. This book wouldn't exist without Trump firing Comey. Let him speak.
Remember, this situation could happen to any of us at anywhere at any time. If it ever happens to you and someone treats you unfairly and tries to demolish everything you've worked for, I'll tell you to fight back, too (...regardless if we politically align or I happen to think the way you address women you do not know on the internet is crass and inappropriate).

This did not age well… John Durham testified today that Comey while head of the FBI hid information proving Trump Russia was created by the Hillary Clinton campaign. Obama and Biden knew and told the public Trump was owned by Russia.

In the promotional clip of this interview, Comey states, " If you cannot find reason to prosecute within a year, you should be fired from your job." Ultimately, becasue he, nor the FBI could find an indictable offense against Mrs. Clinton, he had the press release and the rest is history. Then I thought, "The investigation team for Trump/Russia, is well over a year without anything to bring an indictment and ultimately impeachment to Trump. Does Comey think that Mueller and his investigative team should be fired?" This is a Fair question to ask, since Comey has a great reputation for setting law bidding standards and telling the truth. Anyone?
