- Welcome to Part 1 of Road Trip Middle East where I explore the desert of Dubai, eat the most delicious Emirati food and take you behind the scenes filming for a luxury hotel that feels like it's out of an Arabian dream. Thank you to my guide Jacob from Platinum Heritage for giving me such a passionate tour of the desert. The meal you see at the end down by the water was at a restaurant called Al Fanar and it was honestly one of the best meals of the whole trip.
Stay tuned for the rest of the adventure as I travel to Iran and Turkey, filming interviews with locals and cinematic details that might give you some insight into these beautiful cultures.

I think the fact that it’s made up of people from so many different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures makes it one of the most unique places in the world. I really liked how you gave insights into your own and into local life. And this mix of sequences and subjects all at once, the conversation, nature, the details, urban and desert life, they all give such a nice glimpse into how you perceived the city.

It's so inspiring how intently you listen to others when they are speaking and how interested and kind your responses are. I am taking lessons and learning to be better at this, as I feel that it is something really lacking in this modern world. So many are more interested in their phones or moving on to the next thing, instead of really taking time for one another and appreciating the moment.

I have been living in Canada, mostly Toronto, for the last twenty one years and it is a privilege to live here and being a Canadian citizen. I think Now onwards you will see my comment on every single video. I can't stop myself from saying that this is the best filmography I seen on RUclips. best documentaries with a class piece of art in cinematography. Outstanding cinematic sequences. Loved it.. Just one advise background music is bit noisy would appreciate if the background music should be in sync in as background only :-) else brilliant.

Honestly I expected much more. I'm from Iran but never went to Dubai, I was hoping to see more of the place and less of her jetlagged face or her hotel room. Beautiful photography she could have used it more on the landscape and less on the blah blah of the Jacob beduin who looks more like an Englishman than a native desert man.
For God's sake, when you speak in the video, turn the BACKGROUND MUSIC DOWN!
This, and other videos, looks more like a documentary about Kylie flaunting her sexuality in flowing, slow scenes, than about Dubai, and in spite of me liking her documentaries, I think she should tone down advertising herself a bit, and focus more on the countries she visits and their people.
I understand it's tempting for a woman to show herself off, but one shot per documentary is more than enough. Not 40 in a 13-minute documentary. And I say this even as a horny, woman-loving guy :)
(And yes, admit it, that guy at 7:00 turned you on big time, his voice, his descriptions, his movements,)

Keep these coming. I will be in Dubai in two weeks' time. I was recently in Bahrain and it wasn't what I expected. There is such a depth and richness in the Middle East and a serene kindness in the people, it is a great shame that the politics is so volatile. On the subject of deserts, when I was based in California I loved the Mojave Desert. Coming from New Zealand I expected lots of nothingness but every step you take in a desert is an eye opening experience full of pleasant surprises.
