- It's summertime, and that makes it a great time to try a new Avon "cologne mist" to freshen up for the day or evening. Just remember, whatever you wear, wear fragrance by Avon. 🌬
In this video, you'll hear lots of nostalgic sounds, from the heavy plastic compartments of my Beauty Showcase, to the delicate sounds of tiny cardboard boxes, to the clicks and clacks of tiny little perfume sample bottles, plastic lids, and glass jars. Soft-spoken voice throughout.

Love your Avon videos so much! My mom always bought Avon when I was growing-up. Her “Avon lady” came about every two weeks and they would sit in the formal living room for hours. She always bought me Pearls & Lace perfume from Avon. It’s been discontinued for years. I would love to smell it again and be transported back to this wonderful time. I still occasionally wear their Sweet Honesty for the same reason-nostalgia at its best. Thank you so very much for this!!! 🥰
Ahh, Sweet Honesty. I remember. If I were to catch that scent today, I’m sure I’d be immediate transported to the past. You could probably find some old stock of Pearls &Lace on Etsy-with at least enough in the bottle to catch a whiff now and again. Thank you for your wonderful comment. 💚💚💚
Born in 1963 Boomer here... It was soooo awesome when the Avon lady came.
They had a fragrance line called Moon Wind in the early 70's that, I was quite smitten with.

My mom was an insurance underwriter, so I helped her type up insurance forms-in triplicate with a manual typewriter. 😱😂 That’s so hard for me to believe now.

This brings back so many memories I remember my mom and her friends used to collect the perfume bottles and then have them on display in there homes the packaging used to be so beautiful then I absolutely loved watching this😍❤️❤️

Oh, how I used to love how Avon was packaged and presented!
It was so much nicer than now, and the containers for everything could be kept as decorative items, especially the ones made for that purpose.
Mom loved Avon, and they had cute little items for children sometimes, both boys and girls.
I had a cute little perfume pendant from when I was just a little girl, for many years, until just a few years ago when I moved, and it was lost somehow.
Mom got it for me for my birthday one year, and I loved it so much.
Again, some wonderful memories in this video for me and many other people, I'm sure.

When my mom died over 20 years ago, I put some of her clothes in a large plastic bag and put it away in my closet. Imagine my surprise when I opened up that bag some time later, greeted by the smell of my mother. I decided then that I would not wear the clothes; I would keep the bag tightly sealed so I could have that experience now and again. 🥲♥️

Mom getting that Avon perfume pendant for me all those years ago, is something I remember like it was yesterday, and I still get angry with myself for not being more careful and losing it during my move.
Strange how memories of items, times and places can be so powerful, especially having to do with our loved ones.
My Mom passed 5 years ago in April, and I have quite a few of her things, including some lotions she liked, jewelry, etc., and things that belonged to my Aunt, Grandparents, Stepdad and my oldest Brother, and those are all treasures to me.
None of the items have any big monetary value, but the sentimental value is everything to me. 🙂
Genius asmr. You should be on TV, dressing all those sitcoms, Bewitched, Mr Ed, Dick Van Dyke show etc. Meticulous and authentic- looking to me. I don't know much about the products but it was like I could feel and taste them. Superb. Thanks so much, a lovely distraction on Sunday-night insomnia. Love all the wonderful Avon products that I haven’t seen since I was young…..the lipsticks, the perfumes, the creams. I can almost smell them.
These bottles and jars actually still smell like the original perfumes, so light and . . . inoffensive. They’re soooo different from today’s perfumes, which I find way too strong.
I love these beautiful retro videos, bringing me memories of a happy time and my mother’s favorite fragrances which were 4711 cologne/perfume and Nina Ricci perfume. She used to splash some 4711 on me when I was little and I used to hate that as we were traveling in a car! I’m looking forward to the Avon gathering!
4711 Cologne!!! Ha! One of my best friends lives in Cologne, Germany, and I visit her every other year. You can still get 4711 in a little shop right across from the Dom Cathedral.

The nostalgia!! I was raised by my grandparents and they are no longer alive. So this was a nice way to connect with my grandmother. A Avon lady and she always wore Sweet Honesty.❤Ty!!

I don't know what all this means but I enjoy watching it ! I remember the Avon lady coming to my grandmothers house and I would be playing in a back room . I remember she had alot of these bottles and sachet jars . I felt so special staging over her house on the weekends and taking a bath with the fancy bubble bath bottles and she would give me the kids soaps and different things for Xmas . She baked bread Saturday night and would make fried dough Sunday mornings before going to church . Thanks for the memories .....

Hmmm, I don’t think so, at least nothing so durable and meant to be reused. Funny thing, I never sold Avon but I did sell Tupperware in 1977. Home parties and everything. Lots of fun. 💚
