I would keep my eyes open for shows especially in Tokyo, there is a lot announced closer to date.
I can’t imagine there won’t be anything though at the moment indeed none of my go-to bands are playing.
Check maybe also the homepages of venues like Cyclone, The Game or Garrett in Shibuya and you might find something unexpected fun (they usually have a lot of metal shows there and I think Game is doing shows every Sunday if I’m not mistaken). These might not be the bigger, better known, acts but still a lot of good stuff.
If you’re still there on the 20th April Unveil Raze will play with Dexcore in Tokyo as well.

Hell yeah! Thank you for reacting to one of my favourite bands! 🤘 I am all here for untraditional song structures and unpredictability. And my favourite demon PK with his range of vocals 😈 Hopefully this is the year they blow up and all metal heads recognise the name Prompts 🖤
Edit: Prompts are Korean-Japanese. Vocalist PK and bassist/vocalist Piguri escaped the land of k-pop for the metal scene in Japan. And who can blame them? 😂
This song is wayyy better than the older stuff they dropped. It’s about time they leveled up
@@robdurfee6861I love their older songs too and they’ve always had those fun untraditional song structures 🖤 But I do think this song has something about it as if they’re saying “we are ready to conquer the world now so be prepared!”. Also I am very excited to see PK doing more cleans recently instead of leaving them all to Piguri. The demon has a beautiful singing voice too!

Same, the first section was very deathcore, but then everything else just elevated that. Great song, I'll definitely need to listen to more.
Check out their lesser known song “Let the Rain Wash Over” (I think it was one of two bonus tracks for the physical edition of their latest album but available on Spotify etc. now anyway) if you want one of their “soft” songs. I love how hard Prompts go, but that song is probably my favourite despite that because it just hits me in my soul.
I hadn't given these guys much of a chance, then I saw the. Live a few weeks ago supporting The Gloom In The Corner. They were honestly the best of the supporting acts! So fucking good.
