This scene right here is a perfect example of how James writes his scenes and why it's the best. Lol Normally Peacemaker would have just looked embarrassed and that's it but somehow, Louis C.K is inserted into the fucking picture. Love this show so much. XD
For the psychopath that vigilante is, the innocence and like longing to hangout with peacemaker when he wants to be taught “face muscle exercises” is just so fucking wholesome.
That’s exactly how fast people wanted him did then wonder what does that particular event have to do with his comedy specials. James Gunn is a genius and deep down he respects great writers as writers not their personal circumstance.
It was hysterical how vigilante doesn’t get the understanding of what Peacemaker was talking about with Louie CK. Protect Vig at all costs even if he can do so himself
When Chris lied about exercising his face muscles to cover up the fact that he was actually crying and then Adrian tells him that if he can teach him how do it and Chris says yes was kinda wholesome. I love them.
I havent seen the show but have seen a lot of clips. Kind of on the fence about watching a show that sounds like me hanging out with my college friends.
Well, there is action, comedy, and peacemaker is getting a personality and character development. At the end of episode 4, it gets emotional and shows why peacemaker is the way he is. He is lowkey emotionally damaged with a shitty dad who refuses to give him love or affection. And even when he tries to do the right thing like kill Flag to keep America safe (in his point of view) no one likes him still.
A Power Rangers villains that very much has the comedic genius and quips of Deadpool, and the need to bring justice by beating the crap out of thugs, murderers, and killers like Kick Ass as a vigilante.....than yeah he pretty much is in this show. And I'm definitely not complaining.
Only problem with this was that in the previous scene Peacemaker pointed out he was in maximum security prison for 4 years, so was out of the loop on the news. But he knew the 411 on Louis CK, of all things?
@@herloss448 LMAO I’m 30 years old and I know the Louie CK context very well. The scene just feels like it’s trying too hard to be funny. Forced. Made me cringe because of it

As funny as this scene was, I have 1 issue with it James gunn got cancelled for some dumb bs he said on twitter years ago, leading to him getting fired by marvel which is why he did anything with dc in the first place. Louis got cancelled over dumb bs claims from people who just wanted to ruin his reputation, So seeing hames throw stones at louis is kind of embarrassing and sad imo. I’ve heard that they might not like each other but still, It’s lame to see one dude make fun of another for a dumb cancel culture thing when he faced it himself. Also, If the dude at the end of episode 4 in the flashback was louis Ck for some reason, That would have been really funny, But again seeing some dude who looks like him was kind of weird

Dont know why but I instantly burst out laughing when vigilante says "I'll fcking kill that guy!"
I laughed back then too, but now I'm sure he would fcking kill Louis CK for saying that.
I came to hear that exact line. “Lewis Ck said that?! I’ll fukking kill that guy!”
What makes it so relatable is because we said that when we were snitched or talked shit by someone in school
