Hi, big fan of your teaching styles! Actually I have some difficulties in breathing pattern, Can you please make a video on Belly breathing, and how your belly reacts/vibrates while singing high and low notes.
Thanks so much, I’m glad to hear my videos have been helpful!! I actually do have a video on how to breathe for singing! Here is the link! ruclips.net/video/oBOs0sUEHhU/видео.html I’m not quite sure what you mean by how the stomach vibrates to singing different pitches; breath support generally feels the same throughout singing, however sometimes you need more support than other times. I personally have not heard of focusing on vibrations there and I’m not sure I fully understand what you mean by it? Breathing from your diaphragm, at least in my experience with it, is much simpler than that, so you might be making things more complicated than they need to be. Give the technique I describe in my breathing video a shot and definitely let me know if you have questions from there!
@@katecosettevocals Thank you so much for replying! Actually I have seen this video from a famous youtuber, ruclips.net/video/ZObRFPZimCE/видео.html and I was kind of confused if I am doing anything wrong. Also some mentor said that you have to sing from your belly button, put a hand there and feel the vibration and bla bla..which eventually increased my confusion even more 😅😄
Ahhh, I think I see your confusion! What the RUclipsr/singer in that video means is that your stomach will move outward. So if you put your hand on your stomach when you breathe in, you should feel your hand move outward. I suggest not worrying or thinking at all about any sort of vibrations - just focus on being able to move your hand outward. If your hand does not move outward, you are breathing from your lungs- meaning you are just simply not breathing low enough. We all naturally breathe from our diaphragm when we are laying down. So if you lay flat on your back and put your hand on your stomach, you will feel your hand rise and fall. When you stand up, you naturally won’t feel your hand move. This is simply because we don’t need that much breath support when breathing to survive or simply speak; but when we sing, we need a lot more air and support, so we need to breathe lower. And that is indicated by your hand moving on your stomach to show you that you are filling up with much more air. The hard part is being able to do this while sitting up or standing, but in the video I linked for you I explain a really easy technique to help you do so! I hope that helped clear things up for you, and let me know if you have any other questions!
